First off, I got this product as a kind of beginning/starter for Kegel exercises for myself. Because I forget to do regular Kegel exercises, this was supposed to help me get into the mindset of doing them. The size is perfect for gripping purposes and it feels more like a super or super plus tampon. It's easy to remember they are there in the beginning and easy to tell when it's time to take them out because your body gives you the cue or hint, "hey this is starting to be uncomfortable, take it out". So this is perfect for anyone who just needs that extra help with Kegel exercises, or just wants the sexual and physical health perks it can help you develop. And when you feel ready to move up to the next size ball you easily can, or you can mix it up at first and do one pink with one blue, it's your choice. The pink balls are great, not too heavy, not too light.


The ball material is a hard plastic and comes with two sets of balls with different weights to choose from. The silicone holder has the lightest weigh (the pink ones) already in the holder for immediate use if desired. The holder itself is easy to insert once you've applied some lube ( it comes with it's own sample of water-based lube) both to the vaginal opening and to the toy. The guide it comes with gives you tips on insertion and explains the basics of what you should expect from your first insertion and thereafter. The product also has a 1 year replacement warranty/10 year satisfaction guarantee which you register with the included serial number on the fancy card. It also includes a pouch for traveling purposes which fits both ball sets and the nylon holder nicely, plus it would hold a few extra packets of travel lube if you have them.


This toy would easily work with any water-based lube as long as the lube itself wasn't extremely runny. You need to use a lube that isn't too sticky and runny or else it's going to make keeping these things in very difficult. Water-based lubricant would be best to use with this toy because of the silicone in the product (don't use silicone lube on silicone materials).

I still love my Luna Beads. I actually have been really lazy though in using them, which is a bad thing for me, but I personally have noticed a difference in the long run from me using them as I have. I have found when it comes time for my monthly flow, I don't get as many cramps, but I'm not sure if that's related. And my sensitivity has been positively impacted from the use of them. According to my husband, I apparently squirt more now, amount wise. I have always been able to squirt, but it now goes farther, which has not made my laundry job easier when it can spread two to three feet down the sheets. Oh well, they never said sex was going to be a clean sport.
