Luna pleasure bead system - exerciser for vaginal muscles by LELO - review by M.K

I've been doing Kegel exercises for the past few years now, since I started planning to have kids and was encouraged by a friend of mine. Personally, I find them tedious, uncomfortably arousing and easy to forget. Choosing these Luna beads was one of the best decisions of my sex life: I can pop them in in the morning and go about my day without having to worry about conscious workout efforts. If there were something that worked like this for my abs, I would be absolutely ripped.

The Luna bead system comes with two sets of two small plastic-encased weights that slide into a silicone holder. There is a lighter set and a heavier set. You can use both lighter weights, one of each or both heavier, as is your preference: exact weights and measurements are available on the Eden Fantasys product page. One of each bead is meant for the top of the silicone holder, which has a hole through which you can slip the pull loop for easy removal, and the other fits securely into the bottom. This makes them very easy to clean - you can simply press the weighted beads out of the holder and wash everything separately, meaning that you're able to get all parts very clean. They're safe to clean with soap and hot water, toy cleaner, a light bleach solution or whatever your preference. I prefer to use unscented, color-free soaps so that I don't risk anything irritating my vaginal mucosa during a long day of wear.

In the beginning, I was able to wear these with the lighter beads for a few hours at a time, but by now, I'm able to go for 12 hours or more without issue, on the heavier weighted set. You do notice the beads when you first insert them or if you're jogging or bouncing down stairs, but the majority of the time, you'll easily forget that they're there. I do notice that if I'm aroused and my vaginal muscles are contracting, having the beads in place does tend to amplify my arousal: this may be a goal for some or an irritant for others, depending on how often you want to be incredibly turned on in a board meeting or on the subway. ;)

I find that my natural lubrication is enough on almost all days to insert the beads without problem. On the days when it isn't, I use a little bit of saliva to get things going, rather than a lubricant. That said, however, a female lubricant could be applied without issue. There is no real need to adapt your habits or purchase anything extra with which to use these beads. I store these in the small satin carrying pouch that came with them, both overnight and if I plan to take them out during the day.
