Decent Product, But Not the Best From LELO

Honestly, I'm not sure that if I had to decide to buy this product all over again that I would. I think I would save my money for a higher quality LELO product. If you decide to buy the cheapest LELO product (which still isn't cheap!), it's not going to be as good as their true specialties, the gorgeous and functional rechargeable and ergonomic vibrators they're known for. Yes, those cost more, but next time I will save my money for the best.

Use

I think the best way to use LELO Luna Beads is to insert them and walk around with them, sit down, stand up, even try exercising while wearing them. I tried both running and swimming while wearing them. Running felt strange because I felt the pressure of them inside me and a "bouncy" motion. Swimming felt more natural. However, I did feel more stimulation from running while wearing them.

As you walk around, you can feel the beads move inside of you. Also, Kegel exercises feel very good while wearing the beads because you can feel your muscles tightening around the beads, causing them to move. However, unlike other Ben Wa balls, Luna beads are larger and don't really require any muscular effort to keep them in.

Material / Texture

The LELO Luna Bead system consists of plastic balls with a white silicone holder and a string attached to one of the balls. The texture of the balls themselves is fine; it's a hard, smooth plastic. The silicone holder also feels fine. The string attached to the balls, however, is a major shortcoming. It's just a regular string and tends to get grimy with use. It's also difficult to clean because it's porous. I really wish LELO would have made the string out of the same silicone material as the holder.

    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

I liked the size. They are bigger than most Ben Wa balls. Overall, the Luna bead system is well designed, as pretty much all LELO products are. The only thing I would change is the string. They are very discreet and perfect for travel.

Performance

The Good: Feels great inside, has beautiful design and packaging with clear instructions on use, and is easy to use and mostly easy to clean.

The Bad: The string connected to the balls is difficult to clean!
    • Discreet sound
    • Easy to use

Care and Maintenance

LELO Luna beads are compatible with all lubes. I wash them with soap and water and store them in the storage pouch provided by LELO. It works wonderfully. The balls come apart from the silicone holder, allowing for easy cleaning. The only thing that's difficult to clean is the attachment string.
    • Easy to store

Packaging

All of LELO's products have excellent packaging. I was so excited to receive this beautiful, elegant package in the mail. LELO is like the Apple of sex toys. The design is just beautiful. The box came with 2 sets of Luna beads with different weights, the silicone holder, a storage pouch, and instructions for use, all packaged beautifully.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Good for storage

  • using vaginal exercise balls with a nuva ring
    • has anyone had experience with using any exercise balls and a nuva ring birth control? is it awkward? do you take it out?
    • I had the ring for a while, and most balls shouldn't get in the way of it. When taking them out, sometimes they catch on the ring, but it's easy to just put it back in. I wouldn't worry about it!

It didn't feel extremely weird for me when I was using the Nuva Ring... Actually, I didn't feel it at all!

The vagina is a very elastic organ; a baby can fit through it! With some lube, a lot of warming up, and some practice you can fit most toys that Eden sells. I'm not sure if you're talking about diameter or length, but either way be patient and work yourself up!
    • they look great ,, think with some lube it won´t hurt:-)

  • I have a discount for a LELO toy...which should I get?
    • I have a 40% off discount to Lelo's website, but I don't know what to get. I already own the Ina, the Ella, and the personal moisturizer. Of course I want EVERYTHING, but at this point I've narrowed it down to a few things. The new Mia, the Luna Beads, the candle/massage oil, or maybe the Siri. I've been buying lots of sex toys lately which is why I'm leaning towards the Luna Beads because they're cheaper and I don't own any Kegel exercisers yet. What would you do with a discount as awesome as this one?
    • It's a lot better to bump up the thread you made yesterday about this than to start a new one.

However, the Luna Beads are definitely a great choice, I've heard a lot of great things about them. I don't think you'd go wrong with those :)

I LOVE Lelo. I have a few of their toys - Mia, Isla, Iris, Alia and Luna Beads.
The Luna Beads are fantastic! You can REALLY feel the internal balls moving with little movement. Even just bending over will create the rolling effect. I highly recommend them!
But all my Lelo toys are superb.

  • Question about the Luna Beads
    • Okay, I have received these and used them several times. I'm really not sure how I feel about them yet and have a few questions

What is the purpose of the balls inside? Are the 'vibrations' supposed to be pleasurable or do they somehow help with the muscle strengthening?

What is the purpose of having two different weights? Does this something help the muscles?

Why would you start with the lighter balls? It seems to me that starting with the heavier ones would make more sense?

Are there any recommendations for how to use these? Like certain activities?

I have the Smartballs and not the Luna beads, but I hope I may be able to help with some of your questions. I've read somewhere that the weights are supposed to help with muscle strengthening, although I'm not sure how valid that claim is. Mostly they're referred to as being pleasurable.

The heavier the weight of the balls, the harder your muscles have to work to hold them in. The advantage of the Luna system is it gives you more options. I would recommend starting out with the lighter balls and see how those work for you, and then progressing to the heavier.

I go about my daily activities with my Smartballs. Cleaning is more fun with them :)

      Hope this helped a little!

Thanks for the thoughts. I started with the heavier first. I did not find them harder to keep in at all. Perhaps the weight difference really doesn't matter as much as the claims? I felt them easier and I think that made it easier to remind me they were in. Furthermore, these things are so large (same size as the Smart balls actually) that you don't even need to use your muscles to keep them in.

I don't really find any pleasure from them and, actually, sometimes forget they're in so I wouldn't call them fun per se. -chuckles- Although, just leaving them in doesn't actually do anything, does it?
