Much better than expected
I do enjoy this item and will continue to use it because it is small and easy to clean. Not only that, but it is a great price. This is not the strongest release I have had, but it is worth getting.Published: January 6, 2011

I found the packaging to be cute. It actually looks like an egg and is amazing if you need to carry something with you that is small and subtle. I opened up the plastic egg and inside it was the toy with a packet of lube in it. After feeling the toy for a bit, I was not expecting much from it. It was very stretchy and it felt like it would rip easily.
After using it, I was surprised by the outcome. I was able to use quite a bit of force with it and it did not seem to give out. I still do not entirely trust the durability of it though. With the different textures, these eggs can do wonders for your sex life.
These are also one of the easiest toys I have seen when it comes to how easy it is to clean. It can be turned inside out effortlessly, without damaging the product at all. The sensation was, unfortunately, not as great as I had hoped for. I suppose that a few of the other textures for this toy could have a better (or at least different) sensation; however, I have not tried the other ones yet.
Not only is this toy fun for its intended use (pumping it back and forth for stimulation), it is also enjoyable to simply twist the egg around the head for stimulation.
I personally do not think that this is one of the better toys for play with a partner, but for solo play it is in my top 5.

Just a few days after I wrote the review for this, the material started to give out. It was great for about the first 3 uses, but after that it started to basically disintegrate. This was not designed to be used for very long at all. I have thrown this away and do not plan on getting a new one.

From what I've seen, the general consensus is that the Tenga Eggs are pretty nice for the price (rhyme not intended, haha!). A lot of people recommend them to guys as first-time strokers, since they're cheap and disposable.
Before asking questions like this in the forum, though, read a few of the reviews. I find that it's usually helpful to read at least one from someone who really liked it and one from someone who didn't, so you can get an idea from both sides. :)

Tenga Eggs and Foreskin?

So I'm curious because I'd love to get my boyfriend one of these. He is not circumcised, meaning he has his foreskin (thank goodness :D ) but that makes we wonder how well these would work for him. But My partner adores these eggs and would really like to try the Sparkle or Twinkle. However I've never seen them available. Anyone know what is going on with this?

I believe that the Tenga Sparkle and Twinkle were 2010 seasonal limited edition, so EF may not be able to get them in stock again at all. Perhaps you can file a support ticket, though, and inquire as to whether or not they will ever return to stock.

I know EF has the eggs listed as being silicone but I wondered if anyone has actually flame tested one of these cute little guys.
Reason I ask is because I went searching the tenga website when someone (and I cannot for the life of me remember who) wrote a review and were unsure of the egg lotion being water or silicone based.
When I stumbled onto the tenga canada site and saw the specs for the egg it said there they are actually made of Elastomer.
So has anyone taken science into their own hands about these little suckers? -

I'm wondering exactly why these are only single-use. I've read most of the reviews, but still do not understand exactly why (I would have commented, I just wanted to make a general discussion). Since it's silicone, shouldn't it be..? Or is it a really low-grade or soft silicone or something?

We have one and we've only used it once so far, but the top of the egg appears to be thinning, like it will break with one or two more uses. I think it is the grade of silicone, however, I really do think they can last more than one use. Many people I know who use them get at least a few uses out of them. -
Glad someone posted on these because I'm infinitely curious about them. I hope someone does a video because I still can't get a good idea of how these work just by looking at/reading about them.

Tenga Eggs are designed and marketed as single use, disposable toys, so I would not expect too many uses. The material will deteriorate to the point of failure.
