The Tenga Egg was made to be used as a male masturbator but as a female, I have found another splendid use for it. I use it as a shock absorber during sex with my girlfriend. It is so pleasantly squishy and soft, conveniently small, and happens to be hollow as well. Perfect. I slip it over a toy before placing it between us to cushion the pressure created by the pubic bone. This allows us to grind hard into each other without the bad kind of pain distracting us and leaving us bruised. It also works great without a toy to cushion sensitive areas during really intense positions. Before the Tenga Egg, my lower abdomen/clitoris/tailbone would get extremely sore during my partner's orgasm. Now, we can keep going forever without pain.

It has the added bonus of having a delightful texture inside. The Clicker version, my favorite so far, has little nubs on it that help stimulate the clitoris. The material of the Tenga Egg is absolutely lovely. It is even better than I expected from looking at the videos. I cannot imagine any beginner not being able to use it, but in the situation that the inside is just too textured, the egg can be turned inside out for a ridiculously smooth feel.

The Tenga Egg is fantastic for travel with its little egg shell and disposable nature. This toy is so discreet that I would make sure to keep it out of sight of children who might mistake it for an Easter Egg full of silly putty.

I won't discuss how the toy is "supposed" to work, but for me, it worked amazingly well. It was just soft enough to protect the outside of my pubic bone, my stomach, and even my tailbone from the pressure applied by body weight on top of a hard vibrator. I had tried other soft covers, but they were either still too hard, or so soft that the cushioning just squished into such a thin layer than the hard object felt hard anyways. The Tenga Egg is magically perfect.

This is technically supposed to be a one-time-use toy, but the way I use it, I don't think it is necessary to throw it away each time. It does get tacky/sticky if you use even water-based lube in it, and that is hard to wash out. However, without lube, it goes a long way for me. I just clean it with soap and warm water, and turn it inside out to dry. It is definitely difficult to dry all the way with a cloth, so air drying is the only way.

Storage is perfect. The egg "shell" is ideal for storing the egg inside or even for using it as a drying stand for the egg by slipping it over the shell's exterior.

It comes in a lovely little plastic eggshell, not unlike a large white Easter egg. The egg is sealed with a plastic covering that is stylish and not sex-toy-announcing. If you buy the six pack, it even comes in an adorable plastic egg carton. It also comes with a lube packet. The instructions are very simple and easy to understand. I would definitely give this as a gift, and I do use the egg shell to store the egg, despite the manufacturer's advice to dispose of the egg after one use.
