The Tenga Egg is an all-inclusive, easy to use, and travel-friendly masturbator. It can be used for a solo session, or you can add it for some extra fun with your partner. Everything you need including lubricant in included in the "shell" of the masturbator, making it perfect for traveling. Also, because it looks just like an Easter egg, it is pretty discreet. Unfortunately, it is a temporary toy meant to be used once, but if you are gentle and clean it well you can get 2, possibly 3 uses from it.

Although small-looking, the egg is able to stimulate the penis from the head to the base of the shaft, and is manually manipulated giving you the option to go as slow or fast as you choose as well as giving you the choice of how much pressure to apply. Both beginners and seasoned users will find this extremely easy to use, but its effectiveness depends on your sensitivity as well as the style of egg you choose.

Tenga Eggs are made of silicone and there are eight textures to choose from. We chose (or rather I chose for him) the texture Wavy. It has a series of 5 horizontal wavy lines on the inside. It had a slight odor to it when first removed from the "shell" but after a quick wash it was virtually odorless. I can't imagine a reason why this would be in someone's mouth so I didn't take the time to taste it. Unlike the few other masturbators we have tried, this one was not sticky to the touch.

Simply put, the Tenga Egg looks like… wait for it… an egg! Who would have thought, right? You simply peel off the thin colored plastic material from the outside and expose the "shell". You open the shell the same way you would those little plastic Easter eggs we all remember, and inside is the masturbator. When you remove it from the shell you will notice a small plastic tube on the inside that contains a small package of lube thus giving you everything you need for a solo session on the go.





The total size of the masturbator is 2 inches, which may lead you to believe it is only made to stimulate the head of the penis, but this thing is super stretchy and will accommodate up to around 9 inches of manhood. The egg is white, but when stretched it becomes transparent making your penis look like it is playing a game of "Now you see me. Now you don't".

The Tenga egg is made to be a one-shot masturbator. You use it, place everything back in the shell (if you want) and toss it out, however if you are careful you can clean it thoroughly and get another use or two out of it. Unlike most masturbators, you can turn the egg inside out very easily for cleaning. I used some anti-bacterial soap and warm water, gave it a good washing, set it aside to dry out and then placed it back in the shell.

A very important thing to remember, if you decide to use your egg again, is that it is made of silicone so you will want to only use water-based lube to keep from damaging it.

Your egg masturbator comes dressed in a shell with a plastic-like shrink wrap on the outside to keep the outer shell together. The plastic has the name of the texture you choose, the manufacturer name, and the back has some pictured directions. After peeling this plastic off you simply crack the egg open from the inside to reveal your masturbator and package of lube. If you decide to reuse your egg you can store the egg back in this plastic shell, but if you decide to throw it out you can put all the contents back inside the shell and toss it all in one go.

The Wavy Egg got mixed reviews from my husband. At first, he said it didn't feel like anything special, but after aligning the egg just right it provided a little extra for him. He also said that of all the masturbators we have tried so far this one was the least exciting, but he is interested in trying the other textures available, especially the Spider.

I found the whole experience to be comical. I mean, he was masturbating with an egg. Of course I had to have my turn manipulating the egg to get the full effect, but I got a little overzealous and now our egg is slightly misshapen, and thin on the top. This doesn't mean it was unusable though, so I cleaned it carefully, and I'm sure that if he is gentle, he can get one more use out of it while waiting for the new ones to arrive.
