Love & Marriage by Digital Playground - review by Mr. E

I'm not really sure who this movie is geared toward. I tend to think that any time a porn movie has a plot, then it must be geared toward women and/or couples. With this movie, however, I'm a little confused. The main star is unhappy throughout most of the movie and we see in the first sex scene that her husband is cheating on her. It's actually kind of depressing. The serious subject matter and depressing vibe of the plot put a damper on the arousal factor and makes this awkward for couples viewing.

Kayden Kross is a stunningly beautiful and sexy woman. She is unhappy in her marriage to her "perfect" husband.

Scott Nails plays Kayden's husband. We see in the first scene of the movie that he is not so perfect after all; he is cheating on her at the office.

Manuel Ferrara is convincing as Kayden's understanding and sympathetic therapist.

Lisa Ann and Tommy Gunn are Kayden and Scott's friends. They are a happily married and playful couple with a great sex life; they only have one scene in the movie.

Mick Blue plays Scott's coworker. He only has one scene at the beginning of the movie with Scott Nails and Jessie Andrews.

Jessie Andrews is obviously new to porn. She is very young; in fact, in the Special Features she reveals that she is only 18 and was still in high school at the time of filming. She is really cute in the Behind the Scenes features, but needs some more work in front of the camera.

Breanne Benson is a co-worker at Scott's office who has a girl-girl-boy scene with Scott Nails and Jessie Andrews.

Introduction: The movie opens with Kayden in her psychiatrist's office telling him that she is miserable in her marriage even though her husband is perfect in every way. She is not happy. She wants more, and she doesn't know why.

Scene 1: Scott Nails, Mick Blue, and Jessie Andrews

We discover that Kayden's husband Scott is not so perfect after all. He is at his office celebrating Mick's birthday when he tells Mick to join him in his office right away for an emergency. There, the very young Jessie Andrews is waiting for him on top of Scott's desk in her sexy lingerie. Scott sits back in a chair and watches while Mick and Jessie treat each other to some oral sex. Then Jessie turns around and performs oral on Scott. Both guys take turns with her while the other sits back and watches, but this is not a threesome in the traditional sense. I would have preferred to see some double penetration or at least have her giving the other head while getting fucked. Instead, they take turns like tag, you're it. Jessie sucks on her finger while Mick is fucking her on the desktop, but it is really not sexy; it's actually kind of mechanical. It almost looks like she's chewing her nails. At times, she looks bored or like she doesn't really know what she's doing. Maybe it's her age. The scene ends with Mick cumming on her ass and then Jessie turns and unenthusiastically sucks Scott a couple of times before he finishes by blowing his load in her face. There is little music, even less dialogue, and some heavy breathing. There is no real chemistry between any of the actors. This scene had so much potential for a threesome, but fell flat for me and my wife.

Scene 2: Lisa Ann and Tommy Gunn

Kayden and Scott are at their friends' house having dinner. When Lisa and Tommy, a happily married couple, go to the kitchen to get dessert, they get carried away with the whipped cream. They end up doing it right there in the kitchen while their guests are waiting at the dining room table. This was a pretty hot and erotic scene. They look like they are actually enjoying each other. The scene ends with Tommy emptying his load in Lisa Ann's mouth. When they return to the dining room with dessert, we see Scott and Kayden waiting at the dining room table in awkward silence.

Scene 3: Kayden Kross and Scott Nails

Kayden has just returned from her therapist's office and asks Scott why he loves her. After stumbling for the right words, he tells her he loves her because, and I quote, "Nobody sucks my dick better than you." Yes, this is just what every woman wants to hear from her husband. What a charmer. But I guess she didn't mind, because she then proceeds to get it on with him. Kayden's excessive moaning and oohing and aahing would have you believing that she is going to cum from the slightest touch. They have a pretty heated scene together and Kayden is very vocal. After a fairly rigorous fuck session, the scene ends with Scott giving Kayden a facial.

Scene 4: Scott Nails, Jessie Andrews, and Breanne Benson

Scott is back at the office where he has a girl-girl-boy scene with Jessie Andrews and Breanne Benson. At least in this threesome, all three actors are actually together for most of the scene and we do see a little bit of girl on girl action. Again, there is no music, very little dialogue, and no real chemistry between the actors. The scene ends with Scott emptying his load in Breanne's face.

Scene 5: Kayden Kross and Manual Ferrara

After Kayden tells Scott she wants a divorce and lets him know she saw him cheating on her with his assistant, she goes to her therapist's office and tells him she has left her husband. She tells her therapist she wants to be with him. He tries to be professional and tells her he can't be with her, but it doesn't take long before he gives into temptation. The two of them proceed to get hot and heavy on his leather couch. They definitely saved the best scene for last. Kayden and Manuel are very vocal with each other, whispering, interacting, and engaging with each other throughout the scene. They are playfully aggressive, enthusiastically slapping, and grabbing each other. These two have real chemistry together and are very believable in this scene. The scene ends with Kayden eagerly taking a cum shot to the face. This was, by far, the hottest scene in the movie.

This Blu-Ray combo pack comes with two discs; a DVD and Blu-Ray that are both full versions of the movie. Both discs contain the exact same content.

The Special Features includes about eight minutes of Behind the Scenes which include some interviews with the girls and clips of the cast horsing around. Some of it was humorous and entertaining. Most Behind the Scenes aren't really worth sitting through, but I would say this one is, especially the part where Kayden Kross shows that she can read a book aloud while giving head. The slide show and photo gallery display still shots from the film. The slide show runs about three minutes long. The final Special Feature is trailers which show previews of other Digital Playground movies.

The star of this movie, Kayden Kross, is a talented actress and is incredibly beautiful, hot, and sexy. And Kayden's two sex scenes are very hot. She is quite energetic and very vocal. I will definitely be looking for more titles with her.

The non-sex acting is some of the best we've ever seen in a porn movie. In between the sex scenes, there are some brief "transition" scenes that are supposed to help build the plot. Honestly, these scenes have better acting in them than some of the sex scenes.

The two "threesome" scenes with Jessie Andrews left me a little disappointed. Maybe it's because she is young and inexperienced, but I felt that she just wasn't into it and seemed almost like a deer caught in the headlights.

This movie has some terrific acting in it and some pretty hot sex scenes for fans of Kayden Kross. The first time we watched this movie, we did not enjoy it so much due to the seriousness of the plot. However, when we watched it a second time and fast forwarded through the dialogue and just watched the sex, it was much more enjoyable.

The sex is pretty vanilla with only a little bit of anal teasing and slapping in the last scene of the movie. Overall, not a bad movie. Definitely worth watching, even if only to see the beautiful and talented Kayden Kross.
