File 13 if you would, please.
Silky Sheets is what Twitter would call The Fail Whale. Every little thing that I had hoped that it would do it didn't come through on. If anything, Silky Sheets was more of a turn-off than a turn-on. The can ended up in my husband's and my File 13 very fast.Published: January 25, 2011
Pros:
Pros? What pros?
Cons:
Doesn't do a thing that it's supposed to and is a turn-off.
My husband and I have a little joke that he is my dragon. And he loves mangoes, so they are called dragon treats. He just loves the smell and the taste of them. So when I see something that would spice things up for sex that is mango, I always get it.
The orange mango Silky Sheets was no different. It was, "Oooooo, this could be fun and just add to the bedroom play. He will love the smell and it should make us both a bit more extra-horny. And it should make the bedding feel good and soft. It should also help dry up the lube dribble as well."
But Silky Sheets was a total failure in everything I had hoped it would be.
We sprayed Silky Sheets on our play blanket to make the fleece softer. We were very happy that we laid out our play blanket on the bed. The spray got everywhere. I aimed it at the blanket, following the instructions of holding it a few inches above the blanket. But the powder stuff just blasted all over the blanket. It left a white residue all over the blanket that was a bit visually off-putting.
It didn't smell a thing like oranges or mangoes. It smelled like aerosol and baby powder -- not the most sexually stimulating scents. The baby powder wasn't that bad, but the aerosol made me think that someone just used a whole can of 80's hairspray in the bedroom -- definitely a sexual turn-off.
We let the bed dry for a bit, but when we got on, the stuff felt wet the whole time we were having our session. It didn't do a damned thing to help dry the lube that dripped as we played.
Our cuddly fleece blanket still felt like a cuddly fleece blanket. Silky Sheets didn't do a thing to soften the blanket at all. And the sheets that it got on also didn't feel any different at all either.
I have no idea about the pheromones that are supposed to be in Silky Sheets, but my husband and I were so put off by the stuff that it actually counteracted any pheromones that were supposed to be in it.
Once we finished our fun, the can of Silky Sheets was tossed into File 13. Translation: it got tossed in the trash. It just wasn't worth the space that it was taking up.

Follow-up commentary

There really was no point in me keeping around my bottle of Silky Sheets. I hated it so much to start with that I tossed it out. Why keep around something that is just taking up the space?

talc is not a good ingridient . too bad .

I have bigger concerns with a couple other ingredients. Still want to try it lightly, though.

Silky Sheets

Was just wondering if anyone else uses this product for anything other than the sheet spray? When I used to demo this product, I would demo it for deoderant, under the breast spray to help with absorbing moisture and a few other uses. What do YOU use it for?
-
That's a good idea cmex84! I want to try this but I'm not sure which scent I should try. I was thinking about the "make me blush" becuase I would like to order the body spray. Any suggestions?
-
The only thing I wanted to use it for was to freshen up my bedroom - I share it with a large puppy.
But the vanilla I tried had a butane aroma that drowned out the vanilla scent. It's not something I'd want on my skin, but I'm not a fan of talc.

Using Silky Sheets to Dry Spot
-
I know a lot of people say that Silky Sheets works well to dry wet spots but.. I haven't had any luck with this at all. If anything, it only seems to make it worse! Maybe I am using too much? Too little? Not doing the hokey pokey?
So how can I use this to get the best spot drying? Any advice is welcome -

Hehe hokey pokey. That's sad, I've been wanting these. I hope you figure it out!
