Ooh Nah Nah Vanilla!

Silky Sheets Ooh La La Vanilla smells awful when sprayed! While searching the site, I came across this product and thought it would make a good deodorizer. I didn't have a hard time choosing between the scents because I love vanilla. When I received the Silky Sheets in the mail, I couldn't wait to try it. The bottle is 4oz which is a pretty nice size for the price. The ingredients are Alcohol denat., talc, propane, isobutane , butane, fragrance (parfum), mineral oil (huile minerale), copulandrone (parfum), copulandrone alike, (parfum) reconstituted andronone (parfum).

I took the plastic top off and put the opening of the bottle to my nose to see how it smelled. The smell was pretty good. I then read the instructions to try it out. I shook the can like it said and then pressed down on the top and sprayed a little bit in the air. I didn't have to press that hard for the powdery residue to come out. I literally felt like I was choking on the scent. After being sprayed, it didn't smell like a good vanilla smell. The awful smell also lingered throughout the house. I didn't notice any pheromones like the bottle stated it contained. I thought maybe if I used it on just my bed, that it would smell a lot better. I also wanted to see if it would make my sheets feel like silk, like it's supposed to do. I waited a few hours for the smell to wear out in my room before trying it on my bed. When spraying it on my sheets, it smelled just the same. I still felt like I was going to choke while breathing it in. Silky Sheets didn't make my sheets feel silky at all. My sheets still feel like cotton. I also had sprayed it on a wet spot on my bed to see if it would absorb the moisture. It didn't absorb anything. I did like how it didn't leave any powder residue on my sheets. I had to open my windows to get the smell out of my room.

I was hoping this product would be great. I don't even think I would be willing to try a different scent because of how bad this one was. I might just give someone the can I have because I doubt I'll ever use it again.

I still don't like it. I haven't even used it since I wrote the review for it. I wouldn't recommend this scent to anyone.
