What better use for this product could there be than as an aid in giving a better massage? Couples will find that Lelo flickering touch massage oil is smooth and long lasting so it stands up to even the most intense of rub downs. The sexy scent and shimmering gold help suggest that this massage may be the beginning of an even more enjoyable evening.

Not part of a couple? No need to worry, this oil still has a use for you too. This oil absorbs into the skin very well and therefore could be used as a moisturizer. I would not suggest this though, since for the price you could get a much better moisturizing lotion.

Another possible use for this oil could be to add a bit of shimmer to your skin for a night out. Perhaps a bit of gold could help draw the eye in a club or bar.

I myself have a minor allergy to metal, gold included. I can not wear my wedding ring for this reason, yet the oil did not cause any reaction on my skin. If you have a more severe reaction to precious metals you may want to stay away.

The Lelo flickering touch massage oil is fairly thin and can make a mess if you are not careful. It is not so thin that it will instantly run right off your skin. It is very smooth and coats well without leaving you feeling greasy or oily.

The flakes of gold are fine enough that they can not even be felt, which was a pleasant surprise. Though fine, the gold is in a large enough in quantity that it can be easily seen in the palm of your hand or on your skin after being rubbed in.

I did notice that if you allow the oil to get too cold it can become sticky when using it. So you may want to make sure to avoid storing it in a cold area.

There are three scents available at this time; balsam fir & bergamot, fresh lily & white musk, and spicy clove & amber. We purchased the balsam fir & bergamot for our first of the three and will most likely buy the other two at some point. For now I can only comment on the one I purchased. Bergamot is supposed to smell of light citrus with a bitter undercurrent. It is always used in combinations with other scents as it pairs very well.
I could not really detect much of a scent from the bergamot, the balsam fir on the other hand is easily smelled. Think Christmas tree, but a little more earthy and woody. It is a scent I enjoy very much, having grown up surrounded by pine and fir trees.

This massage oil lasted a very long time with only a few pumps from the bottle. It was slick without feeling greasy and coated thoroughly without feeling oily. The slickness allows your hands to glide over your partners body with minimal resistance, even when using a fairly decent amount of pressure. In my opinion this was the PERFECT massage oil.

The only drawback is that while it takes three to four pumps to cover the back, neck, and shoulders, even more is needed to give a full body massage. At $38.99 per bottle a massage is a little pricey, not that I would dare put a price on making my wife feel great!

We did not feel the need to shower after using this oil. It absorbs into the skin very nicely and does not leave you feeling greasy, oily, or sticky.

The packaging is sleek, sexy, and simple all at the same time. The box itself is matte black with a shiny black circle on the front. Within that circle is a matte black image in the shape of the bottle of oil. In gold writing next to the bottle image is the company name, LELO. In the bottom right hand corner is written the scent, in this case balsam fir and bergamot, flickering touch massage oil, and the size 120 mL/ 4 fl. oz.

On the left side of the box in small print is the website, www.lelo.com and on the right side is an picture of the bottle and a short description of the scent and information that the oil contains gold flakes. The scent description is as follows: A recipe for romance; arouse and awaken to the cool summery embrace of Italian bergamot with a cedar finish of balsam fir.

On the back in English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian are instruction for use. As well as a warning to avoid eye contact, swallowing,or internal use. It also states that you should discontinue use if irritation or discomfort occurs and to keep away from children and pet. At the bottom is a list of ingredients.

Apricot kernel oil, grape seed oil, jojoba oil, perfume, gold powder, caprylyl glycol (this is both a preservation and a skin conditioner), phenoethanol(a common preservative).

The obvious special feature is the 24K gold flakes. In all honesty I did not expect there to be as much gold in this as there was. I was thoroughly amazed at the quantity. Add a bit of candlelight and your partner will turn into a shimmering golden idol to be worshiped.

This massage oil was spectacular. It left my wife feeling as glamorous and pampered as if I had sent her to the spa.
