Flickering touch massage oil - oil discontinued by LELO - review by ChaiMocha

Lelo’s Flickering Touch massage oil is my absolute favorite massage oil right now. It comes in three scents, Fresh Lilly & Musk, Balsam Fir & Bergamot, and Spicy Clove and Amber. I opted for the Spicy Clove & Amber scent and it smells lovely, not overly strong or very feminine. I haven’t tried the other scents that this oil is available in, but I do look foreword to doing so at some point, as they all sound lovely.

One thing I really love about the flickering touch massage oil is the bottle it comes in. It’s simple, yet luxurious, and could easily pass for a bottle of very nice perfume. If I didn't know what if I was, I would never guess it held massage oil. The body of the bottle is about 6” around and black with "Lelo" printed on the front in simple gold lettering. Beneath that, in smaller gold lettering. the scent is listed, followed by the name of the product, and the amount – 120 mL, or 4 oz. My favorite thing about the bottle is the gold pump top, which makes it easy to dispense, but if you throw it on the bed you don’t have to worry about leakage. The cap to the bottle is a round plastic circle corresponding to the scent inside. My cap is amber colored, and when you replace the cap, the bottle becomes even more secure.

The massage oil itself is clear, very runny and extremely moisturizing. It absorbs into your skin nicely, without leaving you feeling extremely greasy, like some products. You should shake the bottle before each use, and you really don’t need a lot. In addition to being a fantastic massage oil, this product works well as a body moisturizer as well. Personally, I rarely use it for this purpose, as at nearly $40 a bottle, I prefer to reserve it for massages. However, I absolutely do believe that it is worth every penny. To me, the gold flecks are not very noticeable, and add only a small dash of shimmer, but I prefer it that way.

Lelo’s Flickering Touch massage oil arrives in a well-designed and discreet black box with the Lelo’s logo, pertinent product information, and an image of the product inside. If you're thinking about buying this product, I really think you should give it a try. This would make a fantastic gift as well.
