It has been probably close to four years since my wife and I purchased the liberator throe. Like a lot of people have experienced I'm sure, it was getting frustrating when we would play around, and then get the sheets messy and either have to sleep in the wet spot or change the sheets. One day I came upon this product on liberator's website and was interested. Needless to say, it has a very important part in our collection.

To use, it is simply pick your field of battle, whether the bed, the living room floor, outdoors, wherever. You then throw it down on your spot, and have fun. When you are done, if no mess was made, simply fold it up and store it until the next time you play. If you did get it messy, time for the wash.

The throe itself has a microfiber pattern on one side and a satin lining on the other. The design prevents any fluids from seeping through at all. It is slightly smaller than a queen size bed when stretched out. Our throe measures 52 inches by 69 inches. It is fairly thin, but very comfortable, just like all Liberator microfiber. In over four years of use, it looks just the same as the first day we used it, even with frequent washing.

My only negative comment about the design, when used on a bed, is that the satin lining on the back does allow it to slip a little bit. Say for example, using the Liberator ramp and my wife on her back, I occasionally have to pull her back towards me, but it is only slight movement.

Performance is just as to be expected. It's just like another sheet on your bed, you really do not notice it. On our bed, with a foam topper on top of the mattress, when moving around the throw does move with you a little bit where it doesn't stay fully stretched out. But unless you are really wild and moving, it should still catch any stray fluids.

It arrived in a large, plain, brown box, along with the liberator scoop and wedge. The throe was folded up in a partially clear plastic zip bag, with a picture showing through the front. The only instructions included were care instructions for washing.

Care is very easy. When we are done if we have made a mess, we simply set it aside on the floor if we don't have time to clean it. If we do, simply put it in the wash machine on cold delicate, then tumble dry low in the dryer. When its is done drying, we fold it up and place it on top of our other liberator products until it's next use. We have never had to spot clean our messes before putting it in the wash machine.

My wife and I absolutely love our liberator throe. We have been using it now for over four years. It still looks and feels wonderful. I am tempted at times to order another one, because sometimes we don't get around to cleaning it fast enough before our next romp. The only negative comment I have is that it moves around a little bit during use. It might be nice to have some form of tie downs on it, but then you might rip those out if you really start moving.
