The Liberator Throe is a very pretty and very effective way to keep yourself from having to sleep in the wet spot. Soft microfiber and slick satin with a waterproof inner layer mean you can completely let go, have a good time, then chuck the blanket in the wash and sleep in dry, happy peace. Just be aware that the inner layer is quite crinkly, the satin quite slippery!

Follow-up commentary I've started to like it more 3 months after original review

I'm still not overly fond of the crinkliness of this throe - it reminds me of a plastic mattress pad if I think about it too much - but I have to admit it has become an invaluable part of our sex lives. It seems like lately I squirt no matter what we're doing so the routine has become to grab the Throe, even if we don't intend to get messy. Toy play, intercourse, whatever, the Throe comes out.

It has, so far, laundered quite well. I use the gentle setting in my front loading washing machine and dry it on medium or low heat for about a half hour and it looks as good as new, despite having been washed at least weekly since I got it.

Worth the money, for sure, if you can get past the crinkles.
