A Little Goes a Long Way

I purchased this lube to be my go-to lube, and it's definitely served me well! It's long lasting and feels natural, and the only downside that I've found is the messy cleanup.

Use

I purchased the Astroglide X lube with the idea that it would be my "universal lube", a name that it's definitely lived up to! I've used it with toys (non-silicone, of course), for hand jobs, and during intercourse, both with and without a condom, and it's always performed beautifully. I haven't ever used it for anal but, since it's a fairly thin lube, I have a feeling it wouldn't be the best choice. I've been using this lube for a while, and I've never had any adverse reactions to it. I generally consider my skin to be pretty sensitive, so the fact that I haven't had any allergic reaction to it is definitely a plus.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This lube is on the thinner side, which I view as a plus. It's easy to pour and doesn't usually require any reapplication, so one bottle can last you for a while. I didn't find it to be sticky or greasy, just pleasantly slick. You do have to be careful though, because it can drip or be messy if you use too much. Just remember, a little does go a long way!

Taste / Aroma

Fortunately, I haven't noticed any real smell or taste to this lube. I have used it for oral, even though it's not something I would recommend as an oral lube, and I didn't notice any kind of chemical or bad taste to it. That being said, it didn't taste delicious either.

Performance

One of the reasons I love this lube is because I almost never have to reapply it, whether it's with a toy or during intercourse. However, one of the things that I don't like about this lube is the cleanup. I guess the fact that it lasts a long time is both a good and bad thing. It definitely stays on until you decide to take it off, so the cleanup can be a little messy and annoying. All you need is some soap and water, but I find that I can never fully get it off unless I shower.

Packaging

The bottle is a basic plastic bottle with a pop-top style lid. I've never noticed the bottle leaking, but I haven't done any traveling with it so I'm not sure how the bottle would do if it were left on its side or upside down.

Follow-up commentary
This is definitely still my go-to lube! I can't remember how long ago I bought the bottle I have now (at least several months ago) and I still haven't finished it. It really does last! I guess the only downside I can see to this lube is that, after a while, the bottle can get a little icky. But...it's a bottle of lube. You have to expect a little spillage.
