Astroglide X silicone lubricant - lubricant discontinued by BioFilm - review by Mrs.P.

I purchased this lube looking for a good, but cheap silicone lube. It delivered 100%. This is the lube that my husband and I use most often. Out of all the lubes I have tried, it is my second favorite – second only to a much more expensive lube. A couple drops will get us through just about anything! It works well with toys (make sure they are silicone free) and is great for both masturbation, vaginal and anal sex. My husband has even used it on his hands when we were out of massage oil!

The silver bottle is nice and unobtrusive. It isn’t girly like some others, so it doesn't put my husband off. The snap lid is handy. However, if you've used it and it's still on your hands, you may have a hard time opening the bottle. The bottle’s small size is convenient. We can take the bottle with us when we travel. I don’t think it leaks, but I usually put it in a plastic bag when traveling. There would be a big mess if it ever leaked.

The actual liquid is clear and has no scent. It goes on easily, and does not dry up like water based lubes. It feels nice and smooth and is long lasting. We usually only have to apply it once. Because it is a silicone lube, it holds up well when used in water.

For those unfamiliar with silicone lube, be forewarned - it is very slick. It takes soap and water to remove this product from your skin. It can potentially stain fabrics, so use caution as needed. If I'm using it outside of the bedroom, I usually put a towel down first.

While I’m sure it is non-toxic, I typically wait to use this lube until after oral sex. It has no real taste, but I just don’t care for the feel of it in my mouth.

All in all, this is a great quality product at a reasonable price.
