Silicon that feels like water
Astroglide X just can't hold up to two lube sluts at all. It just isn't as strong as a silicone based lube should be. Feels more like a light water based lube than anything. Just not worth the money at all.Published: September 22, 2011

I have said it many times before, but I totally am a lube slut. Love the stuff. I even have a boy toy that likes it even more than I do. When I am with him, it's always silicone based lubes. And for that crew toy, the wetter and messier the better.
The last time we played, we had a bottle of Astroglide X by the bed and we where playing with it. It is a silicone based lube that comes in a two and a half ounce bottle with a flip top. That flip top does leak. We found that out the hard way when we tipped it over while having sex and it got all over the bed. It has no scent or color, but it does have a very bitter after taste to it. It feels like water based lube more than any silicone based lube that I have every tried out. It's made out of cyclomethicone and cyclopentasiloxane.
Like I said, the playmate that I used Astroglide X with loves lube more than I do, so we did use a lot of it. A full hand is usually what we use when we start. But with X I had to use three hands full to have the feel that he liked. The stuff was just way to light for him and didn't have the texture that would create that happy space for him.
It didn't dry out at all while we played, but it would absorb into both of our bodies very fast and we kept having to use more and more lube. When we actually started to have intercourse, it was even more and more. It just didn't seem to hold up to much at all.
In all honesty, we used up the whole bottle while we played that night. And we ended up grabbing a bottle of something else to finish up.
I think from this point on, if I am going to pick up Astroglide X I am only going to use it to help get into a latex body suit.
