Use

I decided to try Pink Water after reading numerous positive reviews. I've used it successfully during foreplay, intercourse, manual masturbation, and with sex toys. I know it's marketed for women, but I see no reason why men couldn't use it as well. I haven't yet tried it for anal play. I LOVE the fact that it is glycerin free!

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Pink water comes out of the pump feeling rather thin and watery. But with use, rather than getting sticky, it actually thickens into more of a creamy, gel-like consistency. It feels silky smooth and stays in place.

Taste / Aroma

I can detect a very slight smell if I stick my nose right up against the stuff and take a big whiff, but it's not in the least bit distracting. I get a slightly bitter taste if I preform oral on my partner after using Pink Water, but again, it's not bothersome or unpleasant.

Performance

Pink Water does the job rather nicely and is one of the better water-based lubes I've tried. I like that it doesn't get sticky and, like most water-based lubes, it does need to be reapplied or thinned down with water as it thickens with use.

Packaging

They got the packaging right, the handy no-spill pump bottle makes this lube easily accessible and dispensed whenever needed. The bottle itself is elegantly designed and looks more like a skin care product than personal lubricant.

This is standard lube and, as such, it enhances stimulation by reducing uncomfortable friction, but there are no added warming or tingling sensations associated with the use of this product.

Personal comments

Perhaps I had unreasonably high expectations for this lube after reading so many raving reviews. I honestly thought it would surpass anything I've ever tried and become my new favorite, but it didn't; primarily because for extended use it doesn't last very long and requires frequent reapplication. But it is a top-quality lube that feels great, stays put, and shouldn't cause any reactions/yeast infections. It is superior to many other water-based lubes available, so I will gladly recommend for solo play, couple play, and use with toys.

Experience

My partner also loves the pump action but would like a "larger dose" dispensed. We both wish the lube lasted longer before needing reapplication, but like that it doesn't drip or stain, and is easily rinsed off with water.
Follow-up commentary
I still really like Pink Water, and I'm now annoyed by any lube not packaged in a bottle with a pump top. My only real gripe is that while this lube doesn't get sticky or really dry out, it does thicken and lose its slippery-ness, making frequent reapplication necessary. I bought a 6.7 ounce/200 ml bottle, and it only lasted me 2 months. I have never gone through that much lube in such a small amount of time, so I'm not sure if this is an economical choice for me. But Pink Water is still a great lube for all the reasons I cited in my original review.

Bottom line: It's a high-quality product that I thoroughly enjoyed using until I ran out, but I'm not sure if I'll buy it again.
