Silicone did me wrong last time, so I went to the store in search of a water based lube. Pink water: What an appealing name. It came in a cute little bottle, that if you saw on your friends make up counter, you'd never guess it was lube. But I've been fooled by a pretty bottle before; since it was fairly inexpensive I tried out the smallest one, 1.7 oz. Again, this one claims to be a vaginal moisturizer, which worried me since the last one I tried said that, and was a pain. But I'm taking it home, and playing with a little on my hands, my worries went away. It comes with a pump lid, which makes use a whole lot easier. Pink Water is totally different from the silicone based Astroglide I tried before. It's much thinner and stays slick. I playing with that little bit for a long time and it STAYED slick. It even smelled nice, not quite flowers but seriously almost a floral smell. As for my taste test, there wasn't much of one at all, Which is different since usually they either taste good or terrible, but the bottle does boast it as "unflavored", but I didn't really expect this degree of lack of taste.

Solo:
As a solo project, I tried it out with a silicone vibrator. In the 5 minutes it takes me with this friend, I didn't need to reapply at all. Fun, and different, it provides just the right amount of slip and slide without being too oily or thick. When finished, it felt very sleek, and didn't give me that "I feel so dirty" sensation. During my shower, I realized how easy Pink water was to wash off. It was mostly off before I even brought out the soap!

With a Friend:
Compared to the last lube I tried, this was an absolutely beautiful experience. About 20 minutes in, we did need to reapply, but that was the only time. The product claimed to have "aphrodisiac properties", which I didn't notice alone, but when he and I were getting it on, he was exceptionally into it. After, when I asked, he told me I smelled "so good". I hadn't used perfume so I do believe he was smelling that from the lube. I could be wrong, but it's my personal belief. Again, clean up was super easy, hot water, a little soap, clean as a whistle. This is hard to describe, but again, my internal vagina felt sleeker than before without feeling greasy or oily or thick. I was not a believer before Pink Water, but now I really do think that your vagina can be moisturized. You know the feeling of your fresh shaved and lotioned legs? Almost like that but with your vaginal walls.

After Care:
My sheets had gotten a bit of Pink Water, fearing a greasy looking stain; I threw it into the washer immediately upon discovering. When it finished the wash and dry cycles, I could find no stain. Which leads me to believe it's pretty easy to clean up after, but if you're a worrier about your sheets like I am, immediate action will for sure prevent that gross looking stain that only comes from lubes.

If you decide to buy, go ahead and get the big one, don't be like me stuck ordering more! It is the best I've found (so far) and exceptionally easy to clean up. Little to no effort needed. I now truly believe in vaginal moisturizing. Try out Pink Water and I bet you will too!

Seriously, I still think this is the best lube out there. It is our new favorite. Do not forget to get the big bottle if you buy. If not, you will be back for more sooner rather than later.
