More Than Just Water

As my first water-based lubricant, I am happy with my purchase. Pink Water does its job. It's a relatively thin, natural feeling lubricant that is perfect to pair with silicone (or other) toys. It's easy to both apply and clean up, so this lubricant won't get in the way of your fun times.

Use

Pink Water is a water-based lubricant by Empowered Products specifically designed for women. Pink Water is perfect for both solo and partner play. Being water-based, it is suitable for use with silicone toys as well as other materials. I'd would solely recommend Pink Water for vagina or topical use.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Pink Water is not watery, but is not very thick. I'd describe the viscosity as similar to your standard nail polish. I applied a dime size of the lubricant to my hand and, while it does not immediately drip, it easily runs down my hand and drizzles due to gravity. The texture of Pink Water is smooth, slick, and somewhat velvety, though after two or three minutes it gets slightly sticky and makes me feel "sweaty." It's not sticky to the point where it gets gummy.

Taste / Aroma

Pink Water does not have a noticeable odor besides a hint of aloe, which is a plus. I would not recommend tasting this lube. I did and immediately made a sour face. It reminded me of children's sweetened liquid medicine that has tried to have a decent flavor. This makes sense, as Pink Water contains aspartame. Thus, I'd not recommend this product to aid in oral sex.

Performance

I was reasonably impressed with the performance of Pink Water. Firstly, it is easy to apply. Usually I use this lube during solo play and apply it directly to either my skin or a toy and spread it out. A little bit goes a long way, and a small dime size lasted me (when lacking natural lubrication) approximately ten minutes of play. With my body aiding, it lasted around twenty minutes. Another plus is that it feels natural and not like other greasy and thick lubricants.

What I loved about Pink Water is that it did not stain or leave any trace on my sheets (I use jersey knit, so I cannot say that it won't stain other materials). This is one of my requirements for lube, so Pink Water passed this test.

Additionally, Pink Water is easy to clean up. Being water-based, it washes off nearly immediately when water is applied. Thus, it would be pointless to use Pink Water in the shower or tub. Even though leaving it on doesn't directly cause me any discomfort, I always wash it off due to it containing artificial sweetener and other ingredients.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this lubricant and it stays on my nightstand.

Packaging

Pink water comes in a nice pump-style bottle that is convenient to use. For example, it can easily be applied with a single hand. The packing is great for travel due to the fact that you can twist and lock the top. This feature has saved me many times as, I frequently throw Pink Water in my overnight bag. Additionally, the bottle is clear so you can easily see how much supply you have left. I personally have a 3.3oz/100ml bottle and it has lasted a good while.

The ingredients are listed on the back of the bottle:
Water, Propylene Glycol, Hyrdoxyethylcellulose, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Methylparaben, Diazolidinyl Urea, Propylparaben, Sodium Benzoate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Paullinia Cupana (Guarana) Seed Extract, Avena Sativa (Oat) Extract, Polysorbate-20 PEG-45M,Polyquarternium-5, Aspartame.

This lubricant is not paraben free.

Thanks for an excellent detailed review. Looks like a good lube (not for us because of parabens).
