Worst design ever

This toy failed in all aspects that it was designed for, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I love bullets and eggs and especially love those that are wireless, but this particualr egg was not wireless. You basically had to be on top of one another for it to work.

Use

Bullets and eggs are designed for clitoral stimulation in mind. The Shaki Toys remote control egg was designed with the idea of being cordless to allow you or your partner control the remote. However, they failed in one very important aspect in this design; you have to be within inches of each other for the remote to work properly with the egg. That's not exactly my idea of a wireless remote control.

Eggs can also be used on any erogenous zones that you enjoy being stimulated such as a mans balls and shaft, nipples, or labia. I like using eggs for foreplay. I do not recommend using it internally, the cord is not very sturdy and wouldn't make a very good retrieval cord.

It can be used solo or with a partner. I usually say beginners and advanced users alike can appreciate an egg or bullet, but I honestly wouldn't recommend this egg and remote to anyone.

Material / Texture

It is made out of hard plastic that is smooth and has no give and no flexibility to it at all. Plastic is considered an 8 on Edens safety scale and is considered to be a food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free, and phthalates free.

It is best for those that like hard, no texture toys so if you enjoy texture to your toys, or flexibility I'd pass this one up.

It does not have any smell to it at all.

The egg has a horizontal seam running throughout the toy at the middle. This is where the battery compartment is on the bullet. THe two seams seperate to reveal the battery compartment.

Design / Shape / Size

It is a light pink egg with wireless remote. The egg and remote both have a cord on them that your hand can fit through.

The egg is 4 1/2" around, 2 1/4" tall, and has a 6" cord. The remote is 2 1/4" tall, 1 1/3" diameter, is 4" around, and has a 3" long cord. It is the smallest remote I've ever had in a egg-remote combination.

It can easily be taken with you on your travels if you wish to do so. It is small enough to fit in a pocket, purse, or bag if you decide to take it with you while traveling.

For company that is aware of sex toys, this could not be passed off as anything other than what it is, so if discretion is important to you I would suggest storing this after each use.

Here's it compared to the Eden Fantasy bullet, L'amour and Mood Blissful.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The worst thing about this besides the fact it is pink is that it requires ten N watch batteries. Yes, I said ten batteries. They were included with the toy, but geez that's alot of batteries for one toy. Six batteries are required to operate the bullet and four to operate the remote. My issue with this was four of the batteries that came with the toy were broken. Fortunately I had some of these batteries around the house so I didn't have to go out and buy any.

It has two push button controls located on the top of the remote one for controlling on-off, and one for controlling the "ten" functions. I was not able to distinguish ten functions at all, the best I could do was get seven. My seven functions are as follows:
1-3: are low, medium, high steady vibration patterns
4: fast pulses to constant
5: fast pulse
6: very fast pulse
7: steady high vibrations again

I've never been a fan of pulsation patterns so I enjoy the constant vibrations the best. However, the vibrations are on the buzzy side so if you like your toys on the deep and rumbly side, this is not for you. It's especially not for you if you require stronger toys, this toy is very weak. The vibrations were not pin-pointed and pretty much settled around a broad area so if you prefer pin-point stimulation, this is not for you. This did leave my hands feeling numb from holding it for any length of time, but did not cause any itching.

As far as how it performed as a wireless remote, in my opinion you'd be better off having a corded bullet because this did not perform as a wireless remote. You need to be very close to each other for the remote to work.

When using it and discretion is important, I would suggest some background noise because this is a very noisy egg and could most certainly be heard through thin walls and closed doors.

There is a clear seal located inside the battery compartment to prevent water from seaping into the toy. I did test it out, and as far as I can tell, it holds up to its claim of being water-proof.

Care and Maintenance

Plastic toys can easily be cleaned with antibacterial soap and hot water, by wiping down with isopropyl alcohol, or using your favorite toy wipe or cleaner. Water, oil, silicone, or hybrid-based lubricants can be used with plastic so you can have a variety of lubricants to choose when using this toy.

It did not come with any additional storage pouch so I just store mine with all my other bullets in a shoe box out of reach from my small children.

Packaging

Here's what the package looks like from the front, back, and side.

Eww! All those watch batteries! I'd never be able to get them all in place correctly. They're so fiddly and teeny and I'd end up dropping a couple that would roll under the furniture and vanish, and even if I didn't, I'd end up getting them stuck in the toy with the wrong side up. Just ugh!

Awesome review! Sounds terrible! Thanks for the heads up on this one. Really, why would anyone want a toy that needed 10 watch batteries? Not strong on vrooms either

Ten watch batteries? What were they thinking? I was thinking I wanted this, not anymore!
