Taking the Walk of Shame to the Trash.

This bullet has a lot of great features. However, it failed to deliver in quality and power. The batteries died after only an hour of use and the design is lacking. I expected more from a $30 toy. It is wireless and has lots of patterns. Unfortunately, it wasn’t powerful enough for me and then it died! I will sadly be taking my egg to the trash. I recommend you buy a more reliable bullet from a different company. So far, I haven’t had much luck with the company Shaki Toys.

Use

Shaki Toy’s Remote Control Egg was a huge letdown for me. It wasn’t that strong and ate batteries like crazy! My bullet quit working after only an hour of use. There are no wires, and the plastic is nice and smooth. Plus, there are a lot of patterns. However, it wasn’t powerful enough for me providing only moderate vibrations. It could be a great teaser toy, but not enough power to get the job done.

Bullets in general are great for erogenous zones and especially the clitoris. If you like moderate vibrations and more of a teaser bullet this might be for you. It can be a great toy for couples play. I’m single so I just used it on myself. I did test how far you could activate the bullet and it did reach fairly far (at first). However, I really wouldn’t use this in a public setting. People would be able to hear it for sure!

Material / Texture

The Remote Control Egg is made out of plastic, which rates an 8 out of 10 on Eden Fantasy’s safety scale. It is hypoallergenic and latex free. The plastic is nice and smooth with no texture whatsoever. The bullet had no noticeable smell. There is no drag to the bullet. There is a seam down the middle of the bullet where you unscrew it to place the batteries in. I could not feel it during use. This bullet would be suitable for beginners to advanced users.

Design / Shape / Size

The Remote Control Egg has a square shaped remote and an egg shaped bullet. Each has a pink wire so you can easily hold them. The bullet is 2” in length with a circumference of 4 ¼” and a diameter of 1 ¼”. Personally, this bullet was a little too big for me. I prefer bullets that are smaller so I can pinpoint stimulation. The size is suitable for all users.

If you wanted to travel with this bullet you certainly could because it is so small. It’s fairly easy to hide.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Remote Control Egg has a lot of variety in patterns and speed. This is a nice feature, as most bullets don’t have any patterns. As the package claims, there are ten different speed options. The first three settings are steady vibrations increasing in speed. The last 7 options are patterns. The highest setting is moderately powerful suitable for most individuals. However, I still wouldn’t recommend the bullet because it died so fast.

One nice thing about this bullet is it has buttons. The buttons do make it easier to access each different setting. I found as the battery was nearing the end of its life, it was harder to reach each setting. The bullet wasn’t responding as well. I don’t think this was just my bullet malfunctioning. Other reviewers have also noted the very short battery life. This bullet just doesn’t seem like one to waste your money on.

The Remote Control Egg isn’t too loud, but not super quiet either. I would equate it to a cell phone vibrating. You could most definitely hear it through blankets but not through a closed door. The bullet’s package does imply that you could ‘be naughty’ and use it in public. I really wouldn’t advise this. It may not be super loud, but even at its lowest setting I think someone else would be able to hear it.

The remote and bullet came with separate batteries. The remote takes 4 watch batteries. The bullet takes two N batteries. I played with the toy for around an hour and the batteries in the bullet had already died! I was really disappointed with this. It wouldn’t bother me as much if they were easier batteries to get like AAA batteries or something. I don’t really have extra N batteries or watch batteries lying around. I would order more batteries, but it didn’t impress me enough (especially for a $30 vibrator). It will sadly be taking the walk of shame to the trash.

Care and Maintenance

The Remote Control Egg is waterproof so you can wash it warm water and soap. Or if you wish you could use a wipe. Since this is plastic, you can use silicone or a water based lube. Since I am taking my toy to the trash, I won’t be storing it. However, it would be fairly easy to store however you please.

Packaging

The Bullet came in a see through box. It's not very discreet. There aren't much instructions with the bullet, but is fairly self explanatory. This box can be used to store the toy in.

As I mentioned, the inside of the box contained the remote and the egg with all the batteries up top. This bullet has way too many batteries in the package. It takes the most assembly required of any toy I’ve ever had. Granted, it’s not hard to figure out but it’s a little annoying to have to put in all the batteries. I might sound lazy but I had to point it out. When I get a toy I want to get it out and start playing!

Follow-up commentary
I absolutely hated this toy! It died so fast that I didn't even replace the battery in it. It went straight to the trash.

Thanks for the review! I had a remote controlled egg that I loved but it was a battery guzzler too. I could only get once use out of a set of batteries

I didn't have much luck with this one either. My husband really liked it on him, but it died after a couple days use. Thanks for the review.
