I need some help finding a collar

Contributor: Life's Little Secrets Life's Little Secrets
I need some help with finding a collar for me. My Goddess and I recently decided to start a femdom style relationship and she wants to exert her dominance through the use of a collar. My problem is that I want a high quality, custom collar that doesn’t necessarily look feminine but i don't know where to go. I have heard about Collar Factory and Leather Mystics but has anyone used either of these sites and is there anywhere else? Thank you for all of the help.

What type of collar is she looking to put on you? I would personally suggest letting her decide, as she is the one who is putting it on you.

Well we are mainly looking for a collar that can be worn for extended periods of time without being uncomfortable. She will also have the final say in what the collar looks like I am just completely dumbfounded on where to go for a custom collar.

Ring of Steel, Collar Factory. Maybe if you are involved in your local community, get something made by them. I know of a few who live by me who are great leather workers or chainmaille makers. Etsy, too, some great chainmaille makers for excellent collars.

I knew someone that got a collar from Collar Factory. It looked great and they were happy with it. I like the options they have.

Wwe have a leather collar and wrist and ankle cuffs from Collar Factory which Wwe love. They are well made, sturdy and comfortable. i did have to put some moleskin on the inside to cover the rivets since i'm mildly allergic to the nickel in the metal but finding someone who uses stainless steel or sterling rivets is terribly impractical.
Etsy does have some great options.
i also wear a day collar 24/7 which required a bit more work because it had to be something that could withstand daily wear including sleeping and bathing, would be a bit more discreet (ie could pass for jewelry to the unknowing eye), and would not aggravate my nickel and chrome allergy. It took some searching but Wwe tracked down a jeweler who makes a sterling silver heart-shaped lock. Wwe purchased a length of unfinished sterling silver chain and took it to a jewelry repair shop to have it cut to the desired length and jump rings soldered on the ends. The lock then passes through the jump rings to join the chain and functions as the clasp. So putting something together by pieces like this is definitely possible. Incidentally, my leather collar also has a locking buckle and my heart lock gets transfered to the locking buckle when i'm wearing my leather collar so it's multifunctional like that.

Thank you for the suggestions everybody! I never thought about piecing together a collar like that, that is a nifty idea. Unfortunately in a rural Texas town like mine I am basically confined to ordering online or driving to a big city to have it made. But once again thank you for the ideas and comments I greatly appreciate them!

Wwe ordered all of the bits and pieces online and then went to a Fast Fix jewelry repair kiosk in a local mall to get the soldering done. The lock was ordered here: link and Wwe found the chain on Etsy from a seller who sells to crafty jewelry making folks and beaders and the like.

I've looked a lot at collar factory, though I admittedly haven't ordered from them.
