Truth: Is this a good game? Yes!

This game is wonderful for couples who want to add some fun into their love life. It's a fun and sexy game with great suggestions and can even cause some laughs. However, if you aren't comfortable with your partner, it might not be a great game to try out right away.

Purpose / Audience

Cosmo's Truth or Dare is best played by couples who are comfortable with each other, or couples that want to try new things. The dare cards push you to try new things with your partner, anywhere from licking something off them or completing a sexual act.

The game is a great way to get things started in the bedroom, and can make for a fun and entertaining night with your partner. This IS a two player game, and tends to be a bit hard, but not impossible, to adapt for a multiple partner situation.

Rules / Content

Instructions are included on the game box, however the game is fairly simple, pick a card and ask your partner if they want truth or dare. Each card has both options on it, one on the top, and the other upside down on the bottom. Read out which option they chose, have them answer the question if they picked truth, or have them perform the action on the card.

An example of some cards:

TRUTH: If you were to create an original sex move, what would you call it?
DARE: Stimulate two parts of my body at once. Use your hands on one part and lips on another.


TRUTH: Is there something you’ve seen in a steamy movie that you’d like to try?
DARE: Hop in the shower with me and wash my body, making sure not to miss any hard spots.

TRUTH: During sex, is it hotter if I scream your name or tell you I love you?
DARE: Moan as if you were in ecstasy for 15 seconds



Like most truth or dare games, you can end the game whenever you like, as there isn't much structure to it. There is also no defined winner, but with this game, it could be said both partners win!

Design

The game consists of 120 game cards, each with one truth and one dare written on them. The back of the cards are snakeskin print, half of the cards in purple and half of them in pink. The cards are designed so when you flip them over, one question will be facing upright and the other upside down.

The game comes in a cute, pink, magnetic latching box. It's sturdy and hard, so it protects the cards well. Inside the box, there is a basin that holds the cards with a cover that folds off and a small plastic window in the cover so you can see the cards.

Personal comments

This game was designed for two lovers, and should be played as such. My friends know I have the game, and wanted to play it at a party. The questions are not designed for that, and can make things very awkward if you aren't expecting it. I don't suggest breaking this game out at a party with your friends.

Experience

My boyfriend and I loved this game. We would try to play truth or dare, but most of the sites we used were for teens at a party. When I found this game at a store I was excited to show him and play it. It was great fun and we both enjoyed the little extra kick it gave to our time in the bedroom.
