Awesome, but not the best for sex.

Overall, I'm glad I got a Bootie. It's become a new favorite! I can wear it for hours, sterilize it, and it's super fun during solo/fore play. I'm not fond of it holding on to smells as it does, but after air drying for a bit, that goes away. For a nice plug to wear out and about, go for the Bootie!

Use

The Bootie has been on my wish list for the longest time, and I finally splurged and got myself one. It sounded really great: all silicone, not too big or too small, nice base, and it's cheap! This is a wonderful plug for anyone even remotely interested in trying a butt plug. With a little lube, this plug can slide right in and stay comfortable for hours! It's slightly curved, and pushes towards your g-spot; this lovely little feature makes play time with the Bootie a blast!

Material / Texture

This Fun Factory plug is made from pure silicone. It's very body-safe and very smooth. It can collect some dust or hair, but it's not half as bad as some stickier materials. The toy can be squeezed and bent a bit, but is pretty firm.

I didn't notice any particularly strong smell right out of the box, but be warned- the toy does tend to hold onto smells for a few hours after use, even after scrubbing it with soap.

Design / Shape / Size

I thought the Bootie looked kind of cute, actually, and it does. One of my plugs is a scary penis-like shape with huge ridges, but this plug looks like child's play in comparison (sorta). I really like the slight curve towards the g-spot, but unfortunately the base of the Bootie is a big too long on the front side to be very comfortable during sex. For long term wear, the Bootie does great. Most plugs tend to have a wide base, making it uncomfortable to wear for longer periods, but this plug seems to have been designed to wear around!

Performance

For a long time I've been looking for The Plug to wear during sex, but the Bootie isn't quite It. The long front-to-back base makes this plug very comfortable for long term wear, but is distracting during sex. It constantly moves and wiggles and made it hard for me to concentrate because it felt a little weird moving so much. But, for foreplay and solo play, the Bootie is definitely worth it. It won't give you a very stuffed feeling, but the stimulation it adds is great.

Care and Maintenance

Ahh, silicone! With a pure silicone toy like the Bootie, clean up is a snap! You can toss it into the top rack of the dishwasher, boil it, or go at it with soap and water or a toy cleaner. Please note that silicone toys should NOT be used with silicone-based lube, but rather with water-based lube.

The Bootie will collect some dust, so it may be best to store it in a little storage bag. Being as small as it is, the Bootie would make a nice travel companion as well.

Packaging

The packaging on this toy was pretty simple: just a plastic case and some instructions. It could be fine as a gift, but the packaging isn't the most elegant I've seen.
Follow-up commentary
The Bootie is still a favorite plug. It's just the right size to feel some nice sensations. We actually use the Bootie most often during sex, even though the base is a bit long.

Hey I don't know much about silicone. You said this item can hold on to smells, will it smell after taking it out of the dishwasher? It's a really nice review. To bad it couldn't be used during sex as well.

@BlessedRaven Oh no no! I noticed it held onto smells, but by morning it didn't smell again. I'm sure after being in the dishwasher, it wouldn't be holding on to "body" smells. It miiiight smell like your dishwashing soap for a few hours, though, but I haven't tried that yet.

We have the Bootie and always wash it with antibacterial soap and then boil it for a minimum of three minutes every single time it is used to sterilize it. We have never had a problem with it retaining an unpleasant smell.

I recently acquired mine and am having issues with smell. Even after very thorough cleaning and over 24 hours of airing out. I hope this isn't going to be a long term issue, because I otherwise enjoy the plug.

Also, it works for sex for me... I think it is just up to individual anatomy, so people should be aware of that when considering purchasing.

It sucks that you're having an issue Scarlett! I'm having a smell issue with another toy of mine.. I think I need to put it in a sealable plastic bag so I can put it with all my other toys and everything won't smell like rubber!

      From my personal experience with this toy, it is too small for me to hit my p-spot. I do not own a Nexus G-play, so not sure how that would work out. Good luck in your search!
