For the Beginner Bootie

The Bootie by Fun Factory is made exactly for your bootie. It is a pure silicone and body safe butt plug with a base designed perfectly for extended wear. The insertable shaft has a curved tip that can easily stimulate the p-spot in male bodied users and even possibly stimulate the g-spot in female bodied users. The small size and soft silicone makes it perfect for beginners but more advanced users may be dissapointed with it and may be better off looking to Bootie's older brother, Boosty. It's small size also makes it great for use during intercourse, I personally, having quite a small frame, have always struggled with double pennetration so having such a small toy made it doable and now I can begin to work my way up. I suppose this toy could be inserted vaginally, and the curve might stimulate the g-spot, but this isn't really they toys intended purpose, plus it's quite small, and I would imagine that there are much better toys out there for this purpose.

Since I planned on using this toy anally the material was very important to me and I was happy to see that this is made of 100% body safe silicone. This means that it is is totally non-porous and won't retain any bacteria (which is particularly important considering where it's going). It can also be sanitized by washing it in a 10% bleach solution, boiling it, or throwing it in the dishwasher (without soap).
Functionally the material is great as well, it is soft enough that it is comfortable for beginners but it is also firm enough that it can be inserted easily and does not flex. The base is thin and curves easily to fit between the cheeks, it can be bent easily but not so easily that you need to worry about it being sucked in. Fun Factory really managed to find the perfect balance between firm and flexible.



The texture is totally smooth and presents little drag, but you should obviously still use lube for any anal play (water-based only please). The words "Fun Factory" are embedded in the base, they cannot be felt during use but special attention should be paid to this area while cleaning.

The Bootie is a very small plug, obviously designed with beginners in mind. The inserable shaft is less than three inches long and the tip curves at about a 45 degree angle towards the G or P spot, it is also widest at this point. The base is about 3.5 inches long and 1 inch wide at the center, it tapers off at the tips. This makes the base perfect for long term wear because the base slides comfortably between the cheeks, it is also great for wear during vaginal penetration but I have heard some complaints about the base being too long and partially covering some of the vaginal cavity, this is not a problem for me.

The Bottie is best designed for those beginners to the world of butt plugs. It's quite small, about the size of my finger, but slightly larger around the head.



When I first purchased this toy I was a bit concerned by it's size, I was quite familliar with anal play at this point, and anal sex was a common part of our routine. I was afraid that this small toy wouldn't do anything for me, or feel like anything at all, but I was wrong, and I am quite happy I bought this toy. The feel of the butt plug was very different from the feel of anal sex and I am quite glad I started small to get used to the feeling. I am already ready to move up to a larger toy and I haven't had this one very long but I was still glad I started small so I could get used to the feeling and this will be kept as a starting warm up toy for me. This would be perfect for anyone starting out and the base makes it ideal for long tearm wear when a person may want something that is a bit smaller than they would typically take.

One of the best things about this toy is that it is so easy to care for, simply wipe it down with warm soap and water before and after use. If you wish to share it with others I would recommend wiping it down in a 10% bleach solution or boil it to sterailize it, this should also be done if you are using it between orifices. This is a bit of a lint magnet so I store it in a small cloth bag but I do still often have to rince it off between use. I would recomend storing this in a way such that it cannot come in contact with other toys so that there are no chemical reactions, and especially if it is not being sterilized after every use. Finally, although many people prefer the thickness of silicone lubricants for anal use, you should only use water based with this toy for fear of disolving and destroying the smooth silicone finish.

Frankly I was disappointed with Fun Factory's packaging, Bootie came in a small thin cardboard box, with a picture of a toy on one side and a womans "booty" on the other. It was not very informative nor very discrete and it wasn't even durable enough for storage. In the box was simply the toy and a small direction book, no packaging materials and no sample of the ToyFluid (the lube that they include in many of their toys). The direction booklet is pretty much a waste of paper, it covers many of Fun Factory's toys so as soon as you find the one that applies to the Bootie you are left to decifer a number of icons that I am lead to believe mean that it is waterproof, silicone, should be washed in soap and water, and three sepearate icons that all seem to mean "stick it in your ass."
