The Amethyst from SSA Glass is a wonderful G-spotting dildo. You could also use this anally as the curved end will anchor it outside your body. Its curved end will provide firm pressure against your G-spot, and the other end has a series of bumps if you like more texture.

Glass is great because you can use it for temperature play. You can use water to warm it up, or place it in a bowl of ice to make it cool. Sometimes I just use my own body heat to warm it up, which works just as great. Never change temperatures rapidly with glass or else you can damage it.

If you were to drop this toy, it will break into large pieces instead of shatter. Before use, make sure to check for any cracks, chipped, or broken areas so you don’t get hurt.

This is made of smooth, hard glass. Glass is very unforgiving, so if you like soft toys, than this isn’t the toy for you. Be careful about thrusting it because it could bruise your cervix, and that won’t feel very nice.

The curved end has a pronounced head, and the bulbous end has four bumps, which gives it a great handle, especially if you have slippery hands. Glass becomes very slick when lubricant is applied, and you can use all kinds of lube with it.

The Amethyst is a very beautiful dildo. If you left this out, people will probably not know what it’s for. It doesn’t have a realistic design, but it will make people curious.

The curve on mine is almost a 90 degree angle, but it is nicely rounded so there’s no discomfort. I find it is easier to do a little rocking motion with it instead of thrusting, but everyone is different, so what works for me may not work for you.

Each piece is hand blown, so the sizes will vary. Mine is about 8” inches long with a circumference of 3” inches. Both heads are the same on mine, but other people have different measurements. The girth on the Amethyst is a lot smaller than other dildos, so you will not get a feeling of fullness with this toy. However, you’ll forget all about that when it targets your G-spot with little effort.

The curve is very dramatic, but it is easy to control how much pressure you want to apply to your G-spot. Not much lubricant is needed to insert this. The heads don’t give me that strange popping sensation when inserting it. It glides very easily since it is so smooth, and very little thrusting or rocking is required for much stimulation.

This toy is very easy to care for. You can clean it with warm water and soap, which works well because there’s really no places for fluids to stay hidden in. It can be sterilized by putting it in the dish washer, or boiling it. Just make sure to let it cool down slowly after boiling, so it won’t shatter on you.

My Amethyst came with a red velvet pouch with a drawstring closure. There was no product information included. The pouch is not padded, but you can purchase a padded pouch if you are concerned about that. I find the pouch to be good enough to keep it from clinking against other glass toys. I tie a little knot on the drawstring so my toy doesn’t slip out and break.

This was my first glass toy, and I must admit, I was a little intimidated. I wish I had started out with something that is not so curved, and with a little less texture on the bulbous end. Now that I figured out how it works for me, I am very happy with it. My G-spot is quite deep, and the Amethyst still manages to find it. I could see this being a problem for some, especially if the G-spot is hard to reach.

This was a great toy to get me interested in trying out more glass. I prefer the curved end because the bulbous end is just too bumpy for me. I like to use it when it is warmed up because cold temps make me feel numb. Even if you don’t like this dildo, I recommend trying any glass toy just to see what it’s like.
