I am loving the shape and the Pyrex. And the good reviews. I always choose Pyrex when buying pipes. I'd like to know what the material of the red pouch it comes with. I have a thing about touching velvet. I just want to know if it's velvet. I would throw it away and buy a different pouch if so.

-What is the material of the bag? I skimmed some reviews and couldn't find any info about that.
-If you own the Amethyst, do you find it big enough size-wise? If not, what do you prefer?

The bags that SSA Glass toys come in are red velvet. It's a very thin material and not padded at all. On most of mine only the outside is the furry velvet, while the inside is just the plain back of the material.

While it is a small toy, for me personally it is just perfect size-wise. I think for this kind of pin-pointed G-spot stimulation its the design that works for me and not really a function of the size. It's the curve that does the trick for me - BIG TIME!

As a point of comparison to my general size preferences in toys, my favorite "everyday" dildo is the VixSkin Goodfella. The Amethyst gives a totally different experience. I find the Goodfella mimics the feeling of penetrative sex. while the Amethyst does not - it just really stimulates my G-spot perfectly. So depending on what I want, both are awesome toys!

If I were only allowed to keep 1 glass dildo and 1 silicone dildo, those would be my 2 choices - hands down!

Bleh red velvet. I'll have to find a new bag if I get it. Probably not on Eden because all the padded bags are out of stock.

That's good to know about the wand. I'm glad that size probably won't be an issue.

Thanks for the recommendation! I've been fairly interested in Vixskin for a while. I'm curious to feel it in person first and see if I like it (can you tell that I'm touch inclined? lol.) I'll have to go to the real life adult store. The Goodfella looks like a nice size. I just put it on my wishlist to possibly purchase later.

I think it's decent, it is short but I don't require a lot of length from my glass toys. I think it's a good one to have around. I just haven't gotten around to reviewing it yet. The bag is velvet and thin; not much protection. I was expecting something nicer, but oh well.

I'm with you on ditching the bag. It's "velvet" in the sense that it has that feel....but it's a poly blend that feels plastic-y and cheap.

The Amethyst is pretty small, but since its goal is to stimulate the G-spot rather than the vagina more generally, I haven't found its size to be an issue for me.

Thanks for the info everyone! I just made a purchase. I hope I like it! So not only is the bag a gross material, it's flimsy too? I'll have to search for a new one.

It's a narrow toy, which some people don't like. I actually wish it were a bit thicker.

I hope you like it! One thing I would suggest is trying inserting the bulbed end as well and using the curved end as a handle. I enjoy using it this way, and for some reason didn't think to until I'd had it for a couple weeks. This way is good for stimulating the g-spot without it being as "pokey".

Thank you for the tip! I ordered it and got the second day shipping so it's coming soon woot woot! Too bad purple is out of stock but I settled for pink.

I would say it is a tad on the small size if you like something more "filling". For me it was perfect my first glass toy, and learned how to squirt from this puppy! Id try maybe a wider girth but same style and shape toy..good luck happy hunting
