This Amethyst turned out to be pretty lack luster

All-in-all, the Amethyst was barely even a blip on the radar for me.
It was uncomfortable, too short to really to much of anything, and designed only for people with a very specific type of anatomy, of which I do not have. I definitely will not be recommending this toy any time soon.

Use

As the prominent curve suggests, the amethyst is designed with your g-spot in mind. In this writer's opinion, however, your g-spot's got to be fairly shallow for the amethyst's pointed tip to actually hit it's mark. The bend in the neck also makes this toy safe for anal play, with the textured side providing firm smooth stimulation.

Material / Texture

This toy is made from 100% solid glass. Compatible with all types of lubricant. hypoallergenic and odor/chemical free.
Glass toys are designed for those who enjoy their toys with a firm, unyielding body, and a smooth, low-friction friction texture. The rigidness of glass is great for pin-pointing and applying firm pressure to specific areas. Though glass toys tend to be on the heavy side, the compact size of the Amethyst keeps it light on it's toes. Glass is also a great option for temperature play! Can be heated up or cooled down for a truly sensual experience.

Design / Shape / Size

Though the Amethyst has a cute whimsical design, that is about one of the only nice things I have to say about it. Unfortunately. I purchased this toy a few years ago; it was actually my very first g-spot toy! Let me start off by saying that I do not recommend this as a first g-spot toy at all. I recommend it only to those who are well- acquainted with their g-spots and know right where to find it, because this toy will really only work for someone with a more shallow g-spot. I know now that I am not one of those people. Sadly, 19-year-old me did not yet know this and I ended up being thoroughly disappointed. I also did not enjoy the tapered point of the tip. It felt kind of like a jabbing sensation- uncomfortable to say the least; I mentally dubbed it "The Witch's Finger," if that tells you anything about its utter unpleasantness. The opposite, more bulbous side of the Amethyst didn't do much for me either. I'm not usually one to enjoy toys with a straight shaft in the first place. Pair that with the fact that it was just entirely too short to hit any of my sweet spots, and you've got yourself a recipe for one ultra boring roll in the hay.
I suppose if you're looking for something that is good for travel with, I could give the amethyst it's props for being compact and made of a durable material. Also, it's non-phallic and artistic looking, which makes it pretty discreet if you're worried about wandering eyes. But these two things alone are not nearly enough to redeem the Amethyst. Not even close.
Though I acknowledge that this toy would probably work much better for someone who has a shallow g-spot, it is still not a toy that I'd recommend.

Performance

The best features of this toy are probably the potential for temperature play. as the Amethyst is made of glass, it can be heated up or cooled down for a more thrill experience. It's nice that this toy's compact design make it less hefty than other glass toys, and the artistic design make it pretty discreet; the average person is not going to look at this and think it's a dildo.

The cons far outweigh the pros, though.
-the short shaft limits this toy to being enjoyed only by those with shallow g-spots.
-the pointed tip is very uncomfortable.
-the more bulbous end is really too short to provide much of any enjoyment.
-toy is only for those who are more experienced with their g-spots.
- the toy is lacking in versatility.
    • Hard to figure out
    • Not enough variety
    • Uncomfortable.

Care and Maintenance

glass toys require only minimal maintenance and if properly cared for, they can even last a lifetime! Unlike silicone toys, which are incompatible with silicone lubes, and rubber toys which are incompatible with oil-based lubes, glass toys may be combined with any lube that tickles your fancy! clean up is as simple as washing with soap and warm water! Presto! Glass toys may also be disinfected by cleaning with a 10% bleach solution, being boiled briefly, or by being placed in the dish washer.
    • Easy to clean
