The Amethyst Glass G-Spot Dildo is marketed as a G-Spot dildo, but in reality, as with most toys, is very versatile. The Amethyst is meant for vaginal use, but my husband says it works great for anal play as well. I would not know because I, personally, do not enjoy that sort of anal play. If you do use this toy anally, be aware that you nee to keep a tight grip on it. It does have a slight flare at the base of the ridges, but I would still use caution.

My favorite way to use The Amethyst is to nestle the bulbous head in my g-spot and twist it back and forth while holding a vibrator on my clit. This method gives me the strongest orgasms! I also enjoy using the rippled side for an added amazing texture when practicing double vaginal penetration with my husband. If you are going to use this toy vaginally, be cautious of how deep and rough you are. The Amethyst is made of
borosilicate glass. There is absolutely no give with glass, it is very hard and rigid, and may cause internal bruising if used improperly.

Glass is non-porous and hypo-allergenic, I don't feel like this needs to be pointed out, but it's also food-grade material, latex free, phthalates free. There is no smell or taste to glass, and straight out of the toy box or it's packaging it is cool.

I use glass toys for temperature play. Since glass is a great insulator it cools down or warms up in a bath of warm or cool water fairly quick. As for the size The Amethyst measures 7 1/4" in length, and advertises a 3" inches one way and 4" inches the other way insertable lengths. The toys circumference is a mere 4" and it only weighs 9.7 oz. I say 'only weighs' but if you plan to use this toy for a long play session, your arm may grow a bit tired. Other than that small complaint, the design, shape, and size of the toy is perfect for beginners and advanced users alike!

The toy doesn't have a realistic look, but as far as uses go, all I can think of are sexual uses. I often pair this toy, the g-spot end, with my magic wand and it produces the best orgasms! If you are going to be using this vaginally, I highly discourage you to not use an oil based lube.
