The Salsa was created for clitoral stimulation but can be used anywhere. It can be used vaginally and for stimulation on the anus. However, I do not suggest putting it inside the anus as it could easily get lost because of the lack of a flared base. This bullet isn’t for someone who wants a soft and fluttering vibrator; oh no no, this vibrator is very powerful - even at its lowest level.

This vibrator is good for couple’s play or solo play. It’s amazing to use for intimate play in the bathtub or Jacuzzi. It’s discreet enough to put in your purse, pocket, or car and small enough to be used anywhere. Because of its size, it is easily portable. The charge lasts about an hour and a half on the Ultra (highest) setting, so you can enjoy it for a while before you have to recharge it.

Sometimes, traffic is a pain. Sitting in rush hour traffic is enough to drive a person crazy. Well, one of my favorite uses for the Salsa is to add excitement to traffic! It’s small enough so no one will see it.

The Salsa is great if you have roommates because it's quiet. It is powerful enough to do the job without waking the neighbors or your kids in the next room.

The Salsa is hard, smooth, 100% body-safe PC-ABS thermoplastic. The plastic resembles the texture of glass. It slides against the skin easily and isn't tacky at all. At the very bottom of the toy is raised lettering 'We-Vibe Salsa.' I like this idea because if the raised lettering wasn't there, the toy may vibrate right out of my hand. It's just enough to provide a little grip.

On the bottom side of the toy is the button. It's easy to find and easy to press. The material is more textured here. It has more of a silicone feel to it. On either side of the button are the slightly raised metal recharging pegs.

I noticed no smell or taste that is often accompanied by plastic toys.

I loved the design. I like a lot of power and in order to get the power that I like, I generally have to have a big bulky toy. However, this toy is small enough to fit in the palm of my hand.

It is about the size of my finger. The tip of it comes to a rounded point which is perfect for pin-point stimulation. If you don't like pin-point stimulation or wish to vary the experience, simply turn it slightly on its side and use the rounded edge. The vibrations are centered at the end by the point of the vibrator, but it resonates throughout the small shaft.

I find it's easier to hold the toy at the very end like a modified pencil hold. The raised lettering helps with this.

The Salsa is extremely travel-friendly and easy to conceal. The small little satin pouch holds the charger and the device easily. The closed pouch with charger and device can easily be held in my hand or tucked into the little side zippers on a purse.

Now for the fun part! The Salsa completely exceeded all of my expectations. I am used to raw power, like The Hitachi and The Wahl, so I must admit when I first saw this thing, I didn't think it would have what it takes to take me where I wanted to go, but it did! It isn't as strong at the Hitachi, but it is close.

The vibrations radiate throughout the whole toy since it's so small, but it is easy to see that it comes from the tip.

There are 8 speeds and functions associated with the Salsa. The first four are speeds, and the last four are patterns. They go in this order: Low, Medium, High, Ultra (my fave!), Tease (second fave!), Wave, Pulse, and Cha-Cha. There's a small button on the end of the toy that you use to cycle through these functions. The same button is the on/off switch. Simply hold it for two seconds to turn it off or on.

It is waterproof. Let me rephrase that: this toy is completely SUBMERSIBLE. It works just as well under water as above water. It creates ripples in the water if it is totally submersed and splashes a bit if it is partially submersed. In fact, relaxing in a bubble bath with candles and my Salsa... Ahhh....

The salsa is quiet, but not silent, but still very quiet for the amount of power that comes out of it. On the Ultra (highest) setting, it is about as loud as a cell phone vibrator.

The recharging mechanism is easy. Just plug the cord into the wall then into the spherical magnetic device then snap it to the toy. Just be careful when setting it down: if one of the metal contacts is separated from the recharging sphere, it will not charge. To ensure it is charging, there will be a small light on the sphere.

The We-Vibe Salsa is rechargeable. A short charging time of 90 minutes gives a two hour charge unless you use it on the "Ultra" setting the whole time. It then shortens it to about an hour and a half charge. No batteries required!

The packaging specifically states to only use it with water based lubricant (I really like Maximus).

When finished, just wash it with soap and water or use your favorite toy cleaner. This toy doesn't collect hair or lint like silicone or jelly sometimes can.

This toy is easy to store in your pocket, a purse, a drawer, a pillow, between the mattresses, or wherever!

The Salsa came in a pretty white package. Pull open the pull tab, and it is wrapped in a small sheath of plastic next to the magnetic charging unit. There is a small white box which contains the instructions, satin bag and cord part of the charger. If you want, this box is easily capable of containing the devices. I suggest just using the satin bag.

The box is made of fully recyclable materials.

Fun fact: the Salsa and Tango are IDENTICAL in every way with two exceptions. The Shape of the tips (the Salsa is pointed, the Tango has an angle), and the colors they come in (the Salsa comes in bold colors- red, white, and black; the Tango comes in feminine colors- pink, purple, and blue).

Unlike the Hitachi or the Wahl, this toy can easily be used during intercourse - in any position.

My guy and I started using this toy together before I tried it alone. He nestled it between his fingers and just massaged me down there. It was so intense! The feel of his hands and the Salsa's vibrations were simply sublime!
