Salsa is made from Plastic which rates an 8/10 on Eden's material safety scale. It's made from food-grade material, is non-porous, hypo-allergenic, latex free, and phthalates free, making it a very safe option.

Since it's made from plastic, the toy is very rigid. The white button on the end of the vibe is the only area that has any sort of give to it, and even then it's not much. The finish to this toy is very smooth and has a shiny look to it. There's no PU or velvet coat, but does have a very slight drag to it when slid across the skin. A small amount of lubricant helps to manage this small inconvenience.

There's no texture to this toy, it's completely smooth all the way around it. It's a great choice for someone who doesn't care for a lot of texture, and makes it an even better choice for someone who's looking into getting a more powerful vibe to replace a dull one. Because there's a lack of texture, it makes sliding it in and out of sleeves a piece of cake! The lack of texture makes it a toy that works well for someone just starting out, and for more advanced users who know what they like.

This vibe is quite small in length, and goes from a flat end, to a slightly tapered and rounded tip at the other. The rounded tip works extremely well for pin-point stimulation on your most sensitive areas, and allows the toy to be inserted into a sleeve or dildo with ease! The flat end is where you find the only controls on this toy; a single push button which also happens to be in the same area that connects the toy to the charging base.

It's also very thin in size. This makes it great for someone interested in replacing an existing bullet since the sleek design is so similar to a lot of other products. On top of that, it makes a variety of other uses possible; including my favorite use for this toy (which I'll explain later!).

The size makes this toy very discreet and is a wonderful option for someone who's looking for a vibe that's also great on the go! Traveling is simple with this toy because it easily can fit inside a small purse, make up bag, and would be swallowed up inside a suitcase! Hiding this toy is also simple! Storing it inside a nightstand drawer, a toy box, your sock drawer, etc. is a breeze since it doesn't take up very much space, even with the charger! If someone were to come across the toy, they might not instantly think that it's sex related since it doesn't have a realistic shape to it, but someone who knows about sex toys might find it to be obvious.

The best part about this toy; it's rechargeable! There's no need to ever buy batteries for this amazing little toy! The charging set-up is quite interesting. The power cord gets plugged in to a circular base before magnetically connecting to Salsa. The base isn't free standing and needs to be lying down in order to charge the bullet, but be careful, because the vibe can accidentally become detached from the base since the magnet isn't super powerful.




When the vibe is charging, there's a small LED light that comes on. This stays on the whole time that your vibe is charging and will turn off once your toy is ready for action. The LED light is located on the magnetic base near the area that the power cord plugs into. Charging time usually takes around 90 minutes, but will vary depending how drained the toy is when you put it on to charge.


There's only one button on the toy, it not only turns the toy on and off, but it's how you cycle through the various vibration intensities and patterns. It's very simple to use; to turn the toy on, you need to press down on the button for a few seconds. The vibe won't turn on until you release the button. You start at the first setting and each press of the button takes you to the next. If you want to turn the toy off, you can cycle through the patterns until the toy turns off, or you can simply hold the button down for a few seconds, no matter which pattern you were on. When you turn the toy back on for your next use, the vibe has held your place and will start off on the same pattern you were last on. This is super helpful if you find you prefer certain patterns over others since it eliminate the need to cycle through them all.


The first couple vibration settings are great for those how are looking to warm up or are very sensitive. The Pulse pattern is equally nice in that sense. The fourth function is the most powerful and is awesome if you're someone that needs a lot of power to reach your climax. Each pattern has it's own unique feel and power behind it. With eight functions, there's sure to be something for everyone!

When the vibe is on, it has a little light inside of it that will pulse to whatever pattern you're on, and go from dim to bright depending on how powerful the vibrations are. The light is around the base of the toy and can be seen near the power button as well. This makes playing in the dark extra fun, especially when you're playing with your partner.


Don't let the small size fool you, Salsa is a very powerful little toy! The deep, rumbly vibrations are concentrated in the middle and tip of the toy, but can be felt throughout. The end might make your fingers tingle a little bit depending on how long you've been using the toy, but it's not bad enough that it's an issue.

Even with the huge amount of power that comes from this toy, it's impressively quiet! Even on the highest setting, no one would be able to hear it through a closed door, and on the lower settings, someone might not even hear it through the covers. The fact that it's quiet makes it awesome for someone to lives with a roommate or needs to be discreet with sound.

The vibe works awesome in water and nearly acts like it can swim on its own! Just be aware that since the surface of this toy is so smooth, it gets very slick when wet. Make sure that you constantly have a good grip on the toy when in the shower, since dropping it onto a hard surface could result in your toy no longer working properly.

Not only is this vibe easy to use, but it's just as simple to care for! When it's time to clean your toy, you can use anti bacterial soap and warm water, your favorite sex toy cleaner (the Eden wipes work really well), or you can even wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol.

If this awesome vibe wasn't enough, it also comes with a white satin pouch that fits the vibe and charger in it with a little room to spare! This keeps all three pieces in one spot, making it less likely for any parts to get lost. Should you choose not to use the pouch, there isn't a material compatibility concern that's obvious, but not knowing what material the button is made from is a little concerning. Since it's so small, it tucks out of site easily; in the nightstand, dresser drawer, toy box, etc.

While plastic normally is compatible with any lube type, this one specifically states to only use water based lubricant with it. I'm assuming that it has to do with the material the button is made from, but it doesn't explain why. I used it with silicone lube in the shower once without thinking and nothing happened to the toy, but I wouldn't risk doing it on purpose.

The package Salsa comes in isn't discreet, but it's tasteful. On the front of the white cardboard box is a full color image of the toy that's contained and says the company name at the top, the toy name under the image, and 'Personal Massager' underneath that in six different languages.


The back of the box says 'Intimate Pleasure For Solo Or Couples Play' and gives you a little run down of the features. This is also stated in six languages.


The shape of the box is rather strange, rather than being squared, the face of the front is slightly smaller than the back and the slides slope slightly. It's an interesting design that makes it look more upscale because of it. The tab that opens the box is on the bottom and flips the entire front up, revealing the vibe and magnetic base resting in a plastic tray. Above the tray is a smaller cardboard box that contains the charging cord and the satin storage pouch.





Inside is a small instructional booklet that has a little information in it, and again is written in six different languages.
