Honey dust by KamaSutra

My husband and I recently had one of those softer, more romantic evenings, which included breaking out all of our wonderful KamaSutra products. One of my favorites that we own is the Honey Dust. It is perfect for a little light fun foreplay, combining the sensations of touch, taste and smell.

KamaSutra Honey Dust is a soft light powder that tastes divine. It comes in four different flavors: sweet honeysuckle, raspberry kiss, strawberries and champagne, and tangerines and cream. We have the sweet honeysuckle and it has this light sweet honey taste, with no aftertaste at all. I love it because I'm really not a big sweets person and this is just a light taste of sweetness. This is probably because this is made of simple natural ingredients. All that is in this is cornstarch, natural honey, fructose and honeysuckle. When I first learned of this product I was surprised that honey was one of the ingredients. But was told by the store clerk, where I bought it, that it is honey powder. According to KamaSutra “This sensuous edible powder is made with pure, natural honey, one of ancient India's most prized skin conditioners”

The texture of this dust is like a very light powder, almost similar to powdered sugar but even lighter. The only problem with that is that whenever I open the bag or dip the feather in it, I get some dust everywhere. But I guess if you're going to play with powder that's unavoidable. The honeysuckle powder is white, so it even looks like powdered sugar. When dusted across the skin it feels very smooth and soft, like the lightest body powder. This dust does not clump or get sticky, and it doesn't stain. The initial scent when you open that bag is that of a powdery perfume. My husband doesn't care for it, but I really don't mind it. Once that is gone it just has a nice soft powdery scent.

As with all KamaSutra products the packaging is very classy. The Honey Dust comes in a plastic bag that is inside a black silk drawstring bag, and then, along with the feather tickler, it's all kept in a fairly large airtight tin, that is suitable for leaving out on the dresser for display. The plastic bag is necessary to keep the dust clean and dry, and from getting all over the place in the tin. The feather tickler is cute. It's about 5 inches long with several colorful feathers held together by a small round wooden handle. It is very soft and feels lovely, and kind of tickles when brushed across the skin.

I really like this product and would love to try other flavors when this runs out. But since so little is needed, and it comes in a very generous 8 oz. Size, it may be a long time before that happens. Actually considering how long this will probably last, the price is really a bargain.

We have used this many times and in many ways. I love to tickle him with the feather lightly coated with the Honey Dust and then proceed to lick it right off. And I also love being the one on the receiving end. It can be made even more interesting and fun with a blindfold on. Another favorite way to use this, is by me brushing the feather across my skin right where I want his tongue to follow. I also like to surprise him by applying this on top of the KamaSutra Body Souffle to certain areas of my body before we make love. Then when he kisses me, he gets that delicious taste. Speaking of kissing, brushing a little on your lips makes them delicious too.

I still love this stuff even after a year of having it. And I still have a ton of it left! I would love to try other flavors but this lasts forever. I think I'm going to will it to one of my children. Definitely worth the price!
