Smooth As A Babe's Butt

No more spraying my sheets with a fabric refresher, waiting for it to dry then dusting with powder. This does it all at one time with a nice, fresh, airy scent.
Published: May 11, 2011
Pros:
Silky smooth, affordable
Cons:
Must spray evenly to avoid powder build up.

Silky Sheets Pheromone Powder Mist is a spray to freshen your sheets with pheromones and a layer of silky powder for a sweet night of passion. A comfortable bed is a happy bed.

I chose the Spring Rain scent, it smells like a light and airy outdoor smell. Kind of like grandmas sheets smelled when I used to go and visit. It is a strong smell so a light even spray over the sheets is better than over-doing it. It is a liquid spray that dries to powder so if you keep it in one spot too long while you are spraying, you will notice the powder build up on the sheets. You need to hold the can 6-8 inches from the bed and spray a nice even spray over the sheets for it to go on evenly.

It leaves your sheets with a soft feel, a silkiness that makes them easy to crawl into to. About the same as lightly dusting your sheets with baby powder. It seems to last for about 3 days, the scent and the softness, before it wears off. Which in our bedroom the sheets have to be changed often anyway, wink-wink.

As for the pheromones, I am trying to jump on that wagon, but I really don't know if the pheromones are making any difference. He is gone a lot, so when he is home, we are a bit like spider monkeys humping anything that moves. It does smell fresh and pleasant though. I have used it twice and it still feels completely full. If I can get 10-15 uses out of the can I will be totally satisfied.

Normally I use Febreeze and when it dries I sprinkle a little baby powder anyway, so this just cuts out the middle-man and does it in one motion.

Once you wash your sheets, it is completely gone. No powder caking or gumminess as with some talc products.

  • talc
    • talc is not a good ingridient . too bad .
    • I have bigger concerns with a couple other ingredients. Still want to try it lightly, though.

  • Silky Sheets
    • Was just wondering if anyone else uses this product for anything other than the sheet spray? When I used to demo this product, I would demo it for deoderant, under the breast spray to help with absorbing moisture and a few other uses. What do YOU use it for?
    • That's a good idea cmex84! I want to try this but I'm not sure which scent I should try. I was thinking about the "make me blush" becuase I would like to order the body spray. Any suggestions?
    • The only thing I wanted to use it for was to freshen up my bedroom - I share it with a large puppy.
But the vanilla I tried had a butane aroma that drowned out the vanilla scent. It's not something I'd want on my skin, but I'm not a fan of talc.

  • Using Silky Sheets to Dry Spot
    • I know a lot of people say that Silky Sheets works well to dry wet spots but.. I haven't had any luck with this at all. If anything, it only seems to make it worse! Maybe I am using too much? Too little? Not doing the hokey pokey?

So how can I use this to get the best spot drying? Any advice is welcome
    • -bumps this up-
      Anyone?
    • Hehe hokey pokey. That's sad, I've been wanting these. I hope you figure it out!
