The Liberator Shag Throe, by Liberator, is the perfect item to add to your bed clothes. This wonderful plush, and silky smooth throe can be used as an actual blanket, as well as something to throw down to protect your sheets during sex. This is the perfect item if you're someone who doesn't want to wash your sheets after each lovemaking session, as it's waterproof and will protect your bed from anything possibly staining or wetting it. This is also a great blanket to use if someone wets the bed often.

This would make for a lovely wedding, anniversary, birthday gift for someone special.

The Liberator Shag Throe is only available in the color purple. It measures 54" by 71", and on one side is a velvety microfiber shag fur, and the other side is a silky smooth satin. The blanket is lined and protected with a water barrier material, that is sandwiched between the two wonderful surfaces. With the added water barrier, it creates a crinkle effect when you lay on it, however, with multiple washing that disappears. The crinkle effect my cat loves, and tends to lay on it, therefore I like to keep it stored in it's original packaging. The throe is lined and bordered with a special ribbon like fabric, that is roughly 1/2" in width, and adds extra support to the sewn/hemmed area, and adds decoration.







The design is very discreet, there's no way anyone would realize that it's a sex throe. It's such high quality, and stands up well to multiple washing in the washer and dryer. The material hasn't faded at all, and is still in one piece. The blanket is thick enough to sleep under, and thin enough to sleep on without leaving your body sweaty or hot. I originally thought it would be hot to sleep on with the added waterproof barrier, but surprisingly enough it's not.

This product is by far one of the best items I own for my bed. It's top quality, and is actually waterproof. With the multiple spilling of lube, body fluids, massage products, this item kept my bed-sheets clean and free of stains. Removing it from the packaging, there was no odor, and it was super soft and fluffy. It was perfect to use straight from the package, however, it did have a little bit of a crinkle effect. After multiple washing, the crinkle effect disappears, and it's sweet soft slumber.

The throe came in a clear plastic box, that can be used to easily store your blanket. The box measures 13" high, 8" wide, and 5" in thickness. The front of the box has a cardboard insert with "throes FASCINATOR", "Save the Sheets to Sleep on" written at the top. In the middle is a blonde woman in her underwear and bra, laying on the throe, however, the throe in the photo is red. At the bottom of the insert it has the logo "LIBERATOR", "Bedroom Adventure Gear" written. The whole background of the insert is black, and has the appearance of black satin sheets.





The back insert has the writing that was on the bottom of the front part, but is located at the top of the back insert. Directly underneath that is a paragraph describing what the blanket is used for, and what it's made of. It also includes some quotes below it.

The main picture below the writing is a couple caressing each other on a bed. They are both nude, but covered and wrapped in the throe, however, once again the throe is in the color red. They are however, laying on a satin purple sheet, so that is probably the purple satin throe under them. The item doesn't come with instructions, however, the box insert states the washing temperature levels, and to dry on low heat.

Directly at the bottom are the washing instructions, as well as it stating that the product is waterproof.



The clear plastic box is easy to close and seal, so perfect for storing your blanket to keep it clean. With it being in a box, it makes it easy to store in any closet, even if you don't have a closet organizer.

The best part about this throe is that you can just toss it in any washing machine, to wash it. It can take quite a bit of wear and tear when it comes to washing, as mine has been washed many times and it's in one piece. It hasn't faded yet, and is still super soft, but it hasn't lost it's shape at all with the multiple washing.

Any liquid soap would work with this item. I find that it does need some form of fabric softener or dryer sheets, as I found with the waterproof layer it causes a little static, if you don't use a fabric softener. This item is dryer safe, but make sure it's on a low setting.

I LOVE this product, and use it on a daily basis. Not only do my fiance and I use it for lovemaking, we also like to cuddle under it while watching TV. Both surfaces are equally pleasing against the skin, it just depends on the mood. It's top quality, and has taken quite a beating after multiple washing, however, it's still going strong. It's still 100% waterproof, and has saved plenty of sheets, and money in extra laundry. Even though it's a higher priced item, it is well worth the price in quality. You truly get what you pay for with this product.

Beware, this is a pets favorite item to steal and lay on, so you will want to put it away after each use if you have a pet!
