Use

Sensuous massage oil by Kingman Industries is a massage oil. Intended to be used for, you know, massages. This oil has many, many other uses! It can be used cosmetically. I put it in my hair to smooth it out and condition after showering. I wouldn't put this near the roots of your hair, if you should choose to do this with it. It can be used as a spot treatment moisturizer for your knees, elbows, or anywhere else you have dry spots. You could add it to a bath. You can also use it as an all over moisturizer. I put this on my legs a couple hours after shaving, it didn't irritate me like lotion sometimes does. There's really endless uses for this product, it's not limited to just massages!

Side note: Not sure why this is listed as an oil-based lubricant, I would not use it on the pink bits!

Ingredients from the bottle are:
Sweet Almond Oil, Safflower Oil, Sesame Seed Oil, Isopropyl Myristate, Avocado Oil, Myristate Propionate, Jojoba Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Kukui Nut Oil, Actiphyte of Rose Hip, Ginseng, Hawaiian White Ginger, Juniper Berry, Passion Flower, Evening Primrose, Jasmine, Sunflower Petals, Rosemary, Lavender, Fragrance and Pheromones.

Isopropyl myristate- "The consensus among skin experts seems to be that isopropyl myristate is generally safe for consumers with healthy, normal skin. Some even say that oily, thick creams are better to use in the winter time, and encourage usage, to prevent moisture loss. At the same time, "dermatologists say the only time individuals should avoid using products with this ingredient are, if they are acne-prone or young children under the age of 4", from eHow.com. Read more about side effects here.

Myristate Propionate - from what I found about this chemical, it's used as an emollient. It isn't toxic to your skin but, I really couldn't find much about it.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The feel of this massage oil is, well, oily and very slippery. It's thinner than, say a vegetable oil, and will easily slide down skin. It comes out of the bottle pretty easily, but it's easy to control how much your getting. After it absorbs into the skin, it feels very smooth, and velvety. I didn't have to wipe this off, or wash this off my hands. It absorbs pretty quickly.

Taste / Aroma

This is a pretty strong, but awesome smell! The scent is supposed to be passion flower, but I don't really get a floral scent from this. If I do, it's an extremely light floral scent. This smells more like vanilla or almond to me, which is kind of weird considering there's no vanilla in this product. I put this on my skin and hair last night. My skin very faintly smells like the product and my hair has preserved the smell pretty well!
    • Smells good

Performance

This absorbed really, really, quickly into my skin. A couple minutes and it was mostly absorbed. My skin was still a tiny bit slick and easy to glide up and down, but there wasn't much evidence that oil had been put on. There was no need to wash the oil off. It did not leave any unwanted greasy residue. I have not, and probably will not use this as a massage oil, so I don't know how well it works as a massage oil. I really liked that this product has many other uses than just massages. I like that it absorbs rather quickly. It has an awesome smell. I don't have any complaints.
    • Absorbs into skin nicely
    • Feels natural

Packaging

Sensuous comes in a 4.5 FL oz. plastic bottle. It doesn't scream sex shop, I leave mine out I'm not too worried about the packaging attracting eyes. This doesn't have 'instructions' but on the My Joy/Kingman website it lists other ways to use the oil. I probably wouldn't travel with this the top of the bottle is a push-top and it tends to get a little bit messy after use -- this isn't that big of a deal if you remember to wipe it off, but I wouldn't trust it on a plane ride( I believe the bottle is a little bit too big for that anyways.)
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Easy to use / dispense
    • Messy dispenser
Follow-up commentary
I haven't used this much since my skin is more oily in the summer, but going back into winter now I've started using it again. (I'm on the same bottle) The scent hasn't faded, and it's still an awesome alternative to lotion. Plus, it absorbs much faster! I'll probably need to get a new bottle soon.

  • Sensuous oil - Pheromones?
    • I notice that an ingredient in this is "Pheromones". I notice that this has a lot of great reviews, so I've been planning to get a bottle soon. Now I am curious about this. I am not interested in products that say they have pheromones in them, I think the idea of products with pheromones in them is silly. I have not ruled out getting this, but is it a vegan product? Just what sort of pheromones are in this stuff?

  • Sensuous – oil
    • Can you use this for penetration?
    • I think it is only meant for massage...

Sure, but some lady bits do not do well with it. It may cause an UTI or irritation. We use for massage mostly but some always gets on/around/in the wife's bits with no issue.

Most of the time the natural oils will be fine, it's the petroleum based oils that don't do well.
