So Super Sexy!

Kingman's Sensuous Massage Oil with Ginseng and Pheromones is great for setting a relaxed, sexy-smelling mood. You can add it to your bath water for some soft, lovely smelling skin. I like to use it after the shower to moisturize my legs, arms, and torso. You can also rub some on your palms and lightly comb your fingers through your hair if it's very dry and needs some sexy-scented hair repair.

The mostly all natural, all amazing ingredients in this oil make it great for those of us who are cautious about what we place on our absorbent subcutaneous tissues. It contains pheromones and fragrance, which are the two least prominent ingredients, and also the only two which are not natural. 'Fragrance' can contain synthetic alcohol and a myriad of chemicals that isn't regulated by any safety board whatsoever. You may want to use caution if you have allergies or sensitive skin.

'Pheromones' could be a number of ingredients, according to my Google search. Since the bottle does not specify which pheromone it uses, we really can only speculate. The ingredients I found labeled as such that are used in consumer products and labeled 'pheromones' ranged from the 'now banned due to severe side effects' to 'biologically inert.' So proceed with that bit of knowledge in your back pocket.

The tropical tanning-oil scent is a bit feminine but for those men who don't mind tanning or tanning lotion scents, you could certainly bask in the glow of this seductively scented oil.

I do not recommend using this before sex or as lubricant unless you have experience with oil-based products and have experienced no adverse side effects. Oil can create a breeding ground for bacteria in the vagina and lead to issues such as urinary tract infections and yeast infections, which really suck, and require medical attention. If you're prone to UTI's or yeast infections, reserve oil for massages and moisturizing only! Otherwise, you may find this the best smelling most natural oil-based lube out there, and for a great price to boot.

The oil is not animal tested, so furry friends, breathe easy! Also, Kingman has had the patent on this oil since 1982, so we know it's a quality product. As P'Gell says, it's got plenty of mileage!

According to the label, the Sensuous massage oil is 'formulated with the purest of essential oils and emollients, including Kukui nut and other fine oils of Hawaii. Formulated with therapeutic herbal extracts, vitamin E and oriental ginseng to ease sore, tense, aching muscles. Leaves your body sensually smooth with no greasy feeling.' And boy, does it ever!

The ingredients are: sweet almond oil, safflower oil, sesame seed oil, isopropyl myristate, avocado oil, myristate propionate, jojoba oil, macadamia nut oil, Kukui nut oil, actiphyte of rose hip, ginseng, Hawaiian white ginger, juniper berry, passion flower, evening primrose, jasmine, sun flower petals, rosemary, lavender, fragrance and pheromones.

Did you get a load of those incredible ingredients? Hawaiian white ginger? Sun flower petals? Rosemary and lavender, oh my! These really turned me on to this oil. I definitely appreciate a brand who pays attention to the sweet details.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

This oil is surprisingly thinner and less 'greasy' than I expected. It pours out beautifully, running every which way as one would expect an oil to do. Rubbed between the fingers, it is slick and sexy. It glides on smoothly, but does not spread as thinly or cover like coconut or olive oil do (yeah, I lived in Italy for a while and was poor, I used olive oil for conditioner and moisturizer! What of it?). It tends to absorb into the skin rather than sliding around on it. It leaves you with no sticky, greasy feel or residue like most oils. Your skin is left feeling soft, smooth, and fragrant like the summertime.

Taste / Aroma

The light sweet scent of this oil is simply amazing. Having been to Hawaii when I was younger and fallen instantly in love, I can return to those sun-warmed suntanned sands and the fragrant flowers whispering in the tall trees with this amazing tropical scent. It's a gentle enough fragrance that is certainly not overpowering, and it carries a trace of coconut memories. I keep reapplying it in these cooling days of fall to remind me of summertime.

The oil does have a light flavor that is similar to the smell. It is a bit like you would imagine licking tanning oil would taste. A tad perfume-y in flavor but somehow not really unpleasant.

Performance

The scent lingers gently on the skin for about an hour after application. I find myself reapplying it just to smell those Hawaiian oils again! It's really that wonderful.

Cleanup isn't necessary as your epidermis will happily drink up this tropical goodness. If you get some on your sheets or clothing, it may leave an oil stain, so be careful where you let it drip.

When first applied to the skin, it is quite oily, but with semi-vigorous rubbing, as the oil would endure in massage, it absorbs into the skin and leaves it slick and sexy. This is really a perfect massage oil. You won't need to keep reapplying it to keep the skin lubricated.

Packaging

This happy Hawaiian love juice comes in a cute little 4.5 oz 135 ml bottle. It's recyclable if your area accepts category '1' plastics. The lid is a simple push-button style that can be opened with one hand. The exterior of the bottle tends to get greasy, but I have not noticed it actually leaking. As the bottle is small and labeled merely 'massage oil,' it is certainly discreet and compact enough for travel. I do recommend wrapping it in a cloth or plastic baggie however, to avoid oil stains on your precious things.

Still pretty cute for almost 30 years old!
    • Can be opened with one hand
    • Recyclable
    • Would make a nice gift

Experience

Here is a little show of how well it absorbs into the skin.

Just poured, the oil is lightly yellow in color, very thin, and wants to run, run, run.

Rub, rub, rub! It's so slick and smooth and sexy.

Thirty seconds of rubbing later and we have no oily residue, but the skin is still very slick, well-lubricated and moisturized.
Follow-up commentary
I use this after the bath to smell super good, and rubbed some on my hands, then over my new cat's fur when I picked him up from the pound. He was a stray and was smelly, but not after this oil was on him! And when I use it on my legs he gets so licky and even tries to lick it off! It must taste good.

I did accidentally drop some on a white rug and it got yellow oil spots on it, but a bit of soap took it out. I'll be buying another bottle as soon as I run out. At the rate I'm going, it won't be long, and at this price, it's no problem.
