A Decent Beginner Vibe

It simply doesn't make sense that this vibrator was 'Designed by Women for Women,' as DJ claims. There's just no way a woman would create something like this for her pleasure. Twisted Hearts Seduction isn't good for insertion, and its weak vibes aren't good for clitoral stimulation either. It would make a pretty good cat toy, though.

Use

Twisted Hearts Seduction was designed by women, for women, so Doc Johnson claims. Honestly, there are much better toys out there for clitoral stimulation, and really any toy out there would be better for insertion. So maybe Seduction was designed by... 'twisted' women?

The design is meant to be a heart shape cut in half, and twisted 180 degrees. The bottom point of the heart has been split into 2 point which protrude from either side of the vibrator at odd positions. They make the toy pretty awkward for insertion. The toy's soft TPR material and long body also make it not the strongest for clitoral/vulval stimulation via vibration.

One plus about the toy is its waterproof capabilities. This makes shower play, jacuzzi play and cleanup much easier.

I recommend the toy only to those new to sex toys, looking for something for clitoral stimulation. Insertion is likely to be an odd venture, but you're welcome to try it if you're so inclined. You may be pleasantly surprised... or simply un-seduced.

Material / Texture

Per the EF Product Materials Guide, TPE is also known as TPR, and is a silicone composite.

From the product page: "TPR has an excellent flexural fatigue resistance and high impact strength. TPR is less porous than cyberskin but more porous than silicone, so we recommend using condoms when sharing. TPR toys cannot be disinfected with boiling water. You can wash them with warm water and toy cleaner or mild soap."

So the toy is really soft, which is great for insertion, given the poky tongue-like piece. It's not so great for carrying vibrations, however.

The soft TPR is also porous, therefore it's non-sterilizable. And the toy is a total dust-magnet, as you can see in the above photo. A quick wipe-down with a toy wipe, or a rinse under warm water should get you ready for love again. Make sure the base is securely screwed shut to avoid ruining the motor with water.

The TPR has no smell or taste (though as it's likely to be covered in lint at any given moment other than when it's freshly cleaned... don't lick it). The interior of the toy appears to be a very hard plastic, and is merely covered in an ~.5" layer of TPR silicone. So the toy is very firm to the core, but the exterior is plush. It has about the give of a body-builder's bicep. Flexible till about 3 centimeters deep, then hard as a rock.

Design / Shape / Size

Bigger than a mouse!

The battery compartment is in the twist-on base. Just below the band that twists the watertight compartment closed, is the control dial. Twist the very bottom of the Twisted Hearts vibrator clockwise to cycle through about 4 varying intensities of steady vibrations. The vibes are buzzy, and surprisingly powerful for a toy that otherwise disappointed me by design.

The Seduction sits so nicely in the palm. It's perfect for holding the base while the tip stimulates the clitoris, labia and vulva. At about 4" long, your hands are safe from numbing vibrations, and you have a nice grip on the toy. The 1" wide tip of the toy ensures the distribution of vibrations across a wider area. This is great for discovering at which point your clitoris is most sensitive, as well as playing with labial and vulval stimulation. The urethra as well can be included in play, as well as very shallow penetration.

A beginner may find this a really marvelous toy for clitoral stimulation. The various intensities allow you to customize your experience to what you can handle. As a dildo, however, I'd look elsewhere. Personally, a sterilizable toy with a G-spot curve is ideal for insertion. This toy just doesn't have it.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Seduction vibrates on the high end of 3 vrooms at its highest setting. It's surprising, really. Though the softness of the TPR diffuse the vibrations, they can be amplified by using the toy directly on the crotch over jeans. Call me crazy, but I'm telling you, folks. This really works.

The toy is on the low end of 3 bees for volume level. It's not what I'd call a noisy toy, but it's not whisper-quiet either.

Inserted, this won't easily go beyond the 1" depth. The tongue of one of the twisted heart halves sticks out, preventing further insertion, or at least making it awkward. Once inserted, the tongue can stimulate the G-spot, if only lightly.

Care and Maintenance

Water-based lube is all I'd be letting around this toy. Silicone lube will likely melt and destroy the toy. If you're very fond of a silicone-based lube, you can always test it on a small spot on the toy, in a small amount. Some say the silicone/silicone toy/lube incompatibility is a mere rumor. Only strict scientific tests done in the home can determine the truth in it.

Take the vibrator batteries out when not in use, or at least turn the one battery backwards, so it doesn't leak energy. Cleaning the contacts with an eraser on occasion will keep them fresh and the bullet going strong.

Soap and water and lots of rinsing will clean the toy. You'll have to pick the little bits of lint and debris out of it though. Luckily, this TPR, unlike many others, is pretty durable. It flexes without breaking, and tears are unlikely.

You can store this in a little plastic baggy, away from other toys. TPR tends to melt when it comes in contact with other TPR toys, and silicone. Store it away from sunlight and dust-bunnies, and you'll be just fine.

Packaging

The packaging is not discreet nor informative. The word 'Seduction' is plastered on the front. Only a dunce wouldn't guess what this is for. Hide it if you're worried about prying eyes!

Like all Doc Johnson products, Seduction comes with a 30 day warranty, obtainable via the Doc Johnson website.

Personal comments

I will likely gift this to a sex-toy beginner friend to use as a back massager or clitoral stimulator. There are simply too many other toys in my box that are much stronger than this and are more accurate at pinpointing my orgasms and letting me ride them away. The Twisted Hearts Seduction proved to be an odd blip in the Doc Johnson streak of amazing toys.
