The We-Vibe Touch is a small, rechargeable clitoral vibrator made from body safe material. It's best used on the clitoris, in my humble opinion, but its shape is versatile enough for many uses. I've found it useful on the labia, nipples, and the base of the neck where it meets the shoulders.

You can use this toy alone or with your partner, it doesn't get in the way during intercourse and the material isn't hard enough to poke or prod when being thudded up against. This toy would be great for anyone looking for a clitoral stimulator with moderate to strong, deep vibrations.

We-Vibe Touch is made out of odorless, medical grade silicone. I'd never owned anything from We-Vibe before, so I didn't really understand what people meant when they were describing the "type" of silicone used... When I opened the packaging though, I was instantly reminded of the polished silicone material swim caps are made out of now. I like this material, which has a nice amount of drag upon dry skin, but is perfectly slick when wet.

There is no taste to the material, so those with an oral fixation can lick away without fear!

The downside of the material is that it collects lint, dust, and stray pet hairs like no other. I kid you not. I wash it off, and when I try to dry it, there is already two more cat hairs stuck to it. I find this characteristic extremely frustrating. I suppose that it is the sacrifice you must pay for non-porous, pthalate free, body safe silicone.

The other downside to silicone is that you are advised (by We-Vibe in their instruction booklet) to only used water-based lubricants. Silicone lubricant lovers may be disappointed by this.

The toy is a little plush-- you can definitely squeeze it a little, and the tip of the "scoop" end of the design is slightly flexible.

The Touch measures in at 4" long, 4.5" circumference, and 1.75" diameter. It is designed to fit well in the palm of your hand. It also fits nicely held between the legs, or between two bodies. The shape of the toy is wonderful and versatile. There is the main part of the toy, which is easily held in your hand, and then the top part of the toy, which reminds me of the flame on a candle. How romantic and passionate!

The flame part can also be likened to a spoon, since the "underside" is curved inward. The cup is ideal to give your clitoris a surround-sound stimulation, I think. I found the spoon part good for holding and pressing against the body. The tapered end of the flame is great for more pinpointed vibration, you can use it to draw along your body. You can even "flip the toy over" and press the flat end against yourself.

The Touch is not exactly made for insertion, and I definitely would not recommend trying anal insertion with it. It would be too small and too hard to hold onto, I think. For vaginal insertion, I did not find that really enjoyable or possible. Some dipping and edging at the entrance was sufficient enough for me.

Since there is no "travel lock," I would say it's not 100% travel friendly. However, the size and discretion of this toy does add some credit to being considered travel friendly.

The We-Vibe Touch is very easy to use and figure out. After charging this baby up (explained under 'Care and Maintenance'), you can easily find the bottom of the toy, where charger magnetically sits on a white ring. Press the bottom of the toy and it will instantly turn on. Pressing the button will then scroll through the different patterns and vibrations this toy offers. After scrolling through all of them, the toy will turn off. You can turn Touch off at any time by holding the button down for two or three seconds.

The Touch's vibes are as follows:
4 Steady Vibration Speeds (Low, Low-Mid, Medium, High);
Pattern 1: Short, high buzzes x9, followed by a slow, stopping between each pulse escalation to medium.
Pattern 2: Best described as... long, throbbing. A long medium, throbbing up to high, then quickly back to medium.
Pattern 3: Short, very fast buzzes on high.
Pattern 4: HIIIGH, meeedium, mid, mid, mid.


Strength~ I would really like to say that the Touch blew me away, but unfortunately it did not. Maybe I've been playing too much with Wahl and MiMi. I'd say that if it had just ONE more steady vibration level above high, then I would be grinning like I'd just won the lotto.
The vibrations are still rather strong. It has the unique ability to make me raise my eyebrows, since this is a true "low, rumbley" vibrator. The lower steady vibrations even have this quality, which is interesting to say the least.

However, I'm still just slightly frustrated that it's missing a critical fifth steady vibration level.
A nice feature of the Touch is a small light which glows around the button/charging port circle. When it charges, and when it is on, the light glows yellow. During the patterns, it glows with the vibrations, which I found amusing.

In terms of noise level, this isn't a 'whisper quiet' vibrator at all. I felt it was surprisingly loud, but I think I was just incorrectly expecting it to be quieter. Holding it in my hand, without contact with anything, I'd say this vibrator is two "bees." When I put it down on my mattress or couch and walk away with it on... Damn, that sucker is louder than my cell phone. I didn't notice other reviewers commenting on the volume of the toy, so maybe I am just being too critical?

The toy is waterproof, with no breaks in the sealing for water to leak all up in there. I have washed this in the sink several times without any issue.

We-Vibe is relatively easy to care for. You can easily clean it off with soap and water, or by using a diluted bleach solution. Do not by any means boil this toy or put it in the dishwasher; you will destroy the mechanisms inside.

As I mentioned earlier, only water-based lubricant is advised for the We-Vibe Touch.

The Touch is rechargeable, which is relatively easy to figure out. The annoying part about the charger is that it is two separate pieces. One is a circular "orb" which is supposed to be plugged in to the cord which is then plugged into the outlet. The orb part magnetically attaches to the bottom of the Touch, and it glows yellow while charging. It takes about 90 minutes for a full charge, and supposedly offers 2 hours of fun. I have not tested this out to the full extent yet, since I do not usually play/masturbate for 2 hours straight. However, I suspect it depends on the power level you use and how many sessions you divide that 2 hours into...
The charger easily falls off, though, so be sure to check it at some point while you charge it.

As for storage, the We Vibe package has that figured out for you as well! It comes with a large, white satiny pouch. Personally, I hate the fabric it is made out of-- it's like nails on a chalkboard for me to touch it. However, for people who don't mind that fabric, the storage pouch makes keeping Touch and the charger/orb convenient.
As for packaging, it comes in a white trapezoidal box, with a classy picture of the toy and "We Vibe Touch" written on it. It's classy and definitely more discreet than a half-nude woman making an orgasm face.

In comparison to MiMi...

We Vibe Touch has deeper feeling vibrations, but they are most definitely weaker.
We Vibe Touch has a better design, in my opinion, with many more options for use (pinpoint, cupping, and flat vibration).
We Vibe Touch is louder than MiMi, but perhaps only because of the frequency of the vibrations (it has a lower-resonating sound, which seems louder to me).
We Vibe Touch has less patterns and speeds than MiMi, which is the bigger disappointment to me, because if the Touch had one or two more levels of higher steady speeds.. It would beat out MiMi.

For the time being, I feel as though I will be more akin to MiMi and Wahl. They are stiff competitors, though, and I do acknowledge that We Vibe Touch is a top-notch, quality purchase.
