Be warned that the Touch doesn't lend itself to penetration, so it's best used as: a couple's aid during foreplay or sex, clitoral masturbation, but also some light anal teasing. The directed tip would also be ideal to tease the nipples of both sexes or being dragged up and down the shaft of a penis. For broad coverage, the Touch could be laid across the vulva or at the base of the penis since the vibrations occur throughout.

Unlike other vibrators billed as personal massagers, the Touch will not satisfy in this regard. The vibrations don't feel that strong unless you're using them directly on sensitive areas. It's too small and, unfortunately, the Touch has one very significant flaw.

The We-Vibe is made of mildly squishy, draggy silicone. I received the purple color, which is gorgeously rich and jewel-like in hue. It has a high shine to it, which might make you anticipate a hard surface, but it's soft and invites a squeeze.

Out of the box, I could detect no smell or taste. The We-Vibe Touch is made of food-grade silicone, which is body safe and non-porous. Additionally, if you're concerned or health-conscious when dealing with plastics, silicone is free of phthalates and BPA.

The curved tip is squishier than the base and has some give. There is no texture to the toy, but a very usefully cupped area at the tip is both ergonomic and creates a slight ridge that's quite delightful to rub against a sensitive clit.

How ergonomic! I love that the Touch is slightly hourglass shaped. It reminds me of the Form 4's shape or the Matryoshka, but with a different 'head' or less of a curve. I think it's both attractive and discreet. You could easily leave the Touch out and it could be overlooked.

This concave curve is ideal for being gripped, even when slick. The design has in mind a woman holding the Touch while touching herself -- the gripping area (the curve) is ideal for an overhand position, with the flat portion facing the clit and the base of the toy held in the curve of the palm.



The Touch is 3-3/4" in total length.
The top curve, at its widest, is just shy of 1-1/2".
The narrow neck is 1-1/4".
The 'hips' of the Touch are 1 and 3/4".
At any point, in profile, it's only about 1" wide.
The tip, at its narrowest, is comparable to my index finger in width -- only about 1/2". Talk about pinpoint stimulation!

The magnetic charging port is at the base, same as the single button for on/off and cycling through the functions. If you're like me and dislike laying your toys flat on surfaces ("I just cleaned that!"), you'll enjoy knowing the Touch can sit on its base with some stability.

As mentioned before, there's only one button! Turn it on with one touch, hold for a moment to turn off at any point. For a small toy like the Touch, this is simple and space-efficient. However, it does require 'cycling' to get to functions or patterns that you like. There is an automatic off after all the patterns have been experienced. The Touch will remember the last setting, but I'm not impressed by this since I enjoy using multiple functions in a session. The base lights up when in use, a cute orange glow that pulses along with the rhythm of the vibration pattern.

Just for kicks, I tried stimulating myself with the other side of the tip. It was not as effective for clit stimulation (duh), but was awesome for placing at the entrance of my vagina, along the labia majora.

The vibrations are felt strongest at the tip mostly due to its narrowness, but I would say it's nearly uniform throughout the length. So much so, that I finally experienced a numb hand after masturbating. I would rate the Touch at 4/5 vrooms -- it didn't blow me away, but I didn't find myself wanting, either. Product comparisons that I have experience with: the Pocket Fairy is stronger; the Remote G (at its highest) and the Zini Seed are comparable in strength.

Here are the arguable downsides: the Touch is 3 and 3/4" in length and none of it is insertable. Not in your ass and not in your vagina. First because you wouldn't really want to -- it's oddly thicker than it is wide, giving a flat impression that I don't find enjoyable. Second because (and this is the major flaw) the Touch would lose vibrating power so fast. Honestly, just touching its tip on any setting to something reduces the vibrations. It's detectable on the lower settings and significant on the higher settings. However, I don't feel too bad about it -- on the highest, steady level, not too much power seems to be lost (maybe 1/2 vroom; compared to the low/moderate settings, where 1 or 2 vrooms are lost). On patterns, you would likely be distracted from the loss of power. Since I enjoy rubbing and pressure to climax, I was a little bummed!

Since the Touch is both high-grade silicone and waterproof, caring for it couldn't be easier. The non-porous surface can easily be wiped clean with warm water and soap. However, more in-depth cleaning could be accomplished with a 10% bleach solution. The manual only specifies 'soap and water', so I don't recommend dishwashers or boiling. It's too expensive to break because you tried to clean it.

Compatible lubes: I use a water-based lube exclusively with the Touch and all my silicone toys, mostly because it's easy to clean. However, an oil-based lube could be used such as Vaseline but never a silicone lube (like dissolves like, remember?). It's not recommended that toys of the same or different material are allowed to freely intermingle while in storage, as their materials could interact. Luckily, the Touch has a heavenly travel bag or re-useable box for storage.

My only frustration is the Touch's inclination to attract every hair and piece of lint. It's almost amazing, actually (alternate use: effective lint roller), but easily cleared up with a rinse.

The packaging was simple, clean, relatively discreet and re-useable! Just the way I like it. I store my Touch, its charger and travel pouch in the box. The travel pouch is white, satiny, and fully lined.
