Twisted hearts seduction sex toy review

Massager by Doc Johnson

Published: June 17, 2008
extremely useful review
The vibrations coming from the Seduction were much more intense and a MUCH lower frequency than I expected. It delivered this delicious thuddy hum that almost put me over the edge immediately, and I was quickly brought to orgasm several times, with little to no “learning curve.”
Pros:
Surprisingly strong, cute design & packaging, low frequency vibrations, waterproof.
Cons:
Not insertable, somewhat loud at more intense settings.
This toy was definitely designed
This is my first vibrator that is Doc Johnson brand. For a long time, I (wrongly) associated this brand with stereotypical cheap “novelties” found in adult video stores -- just because of name recognition, and the fact that many adult stores do carry their products. This product has completely broken all of my misconceptions about the Doc Johnson line. I was thoroughly impressed with the entire product – from the design-conscious packaging, to the amazing quality and overall experience.

The vibrator itself is a moderately priced shaft style vibrator – but it is important to note that only the tip before the first petal shape is insertable. It is waterproof and covered with a squishy coating of TPR. The design is attractive, however the little petal nubs really did nothing for me one way or another – other than get in the way of insertion. Also, for those needing a discreet vibrator, the Seduction can get quite loud and rumbling at higher intensities.

But that is not to say that I did not enjoy this vibrator. On the contrary – this vibe has pretty much taken the place of my favorite vibrator of all time, my trusty pocket rocket. The minute I turned it on – I was shocked. The vibrations coming from the Seduction were much more intense and a MUCH lower frequency than I expected. It delivered this delicious thuddy hum that almost put me over the edge immediately, and I was quickly brought to orgasm several times, with little to no “learning curve.” It just worked, without figuring out how my body liked it to be used. And It worked over and over again in rapid succession –needless to say, I’m hooked!

The TPR conducted the vibrations very well – and the girth was perfect for full contact stimulation. The vibrations themselves were something my body was not used to, so my sensitivity seemed to be heightened. The dial end of the shaft controlled the intense vibrations easily, even when all slippery and lubed up – and I love when toys are waterproof. With the cute packaging, friendly design and exceptional quality, I think this is a great toy for beginners, but honestly – this is a great toy for everyone.

It is turned on by the knob on the end - and it gradually gets more intense.

How did you turn it on? And how many speeds were there?

I wouldn't call them obtrusive.  I didn't notice them at all, except when they prevented me from insertion.  Maybe it was a matter of anatomy, or method.  But regardless, there was plenty of other things to like about this one.

As for the packaging - I liked it.  It was clear and had pink and red decorative typography all over it - nary a porn star in sight.  I definitely noticed the effort to make the packaging friendly and attractive.

I was also thinking the petals might be effective for clitoral stimulation, depending on your anatomy.  Still, though, sounds like an effective vibe for bringing on those deep and intensive orgasms!

Hmmm...I wonder if the petals working for you depends on anatomy.  I look forward to see other reviews.

Very descriptive; thanks!

Design-conscious packaging, really? I haven't known Doc Johnson to really go out of their way with packaging.

So the petal shapes are really kind of obtrusive, then? They don't really serve a purpose except to prevent insertion? That's pretty lame. But other than that, this toy sounds good!

TPR is still somewhat porous, so we recommend using condoms if sharing!

Thuddy vibrations, hmm. Interesting- good description!
