This is my first vibrator that is Doc Johnson brand. For a long time, I (wrongly) associated this brand with stereotypical cheap “novelties” found in adult video stores -- just because of name recognition, and the fact that many adult stores do carry their products. This product has completely broken all of my misconceptions about the Doc Johnson line. I was thoroughly impressed with the entire product – from the design-conscious packaging, to the amazing quality and overall experience.
The vibrator itself is a moderately priced shaft style vibrator – but it is important to note that only the tip before the first petal shape is insertable. It is waterproof and covered with a squishy coating of TPR. The design is attractive, however the little petal nubs really did nothing for me one way or another – other than get in the way of insertion. Also, for those needing a discreet vibrator, the Seduction can get quite loud and rumbling at higher intensities.
But that is not to say that I did not enjoy this vibrator. On the contrary – this vibe has pretty much taken the place of my favorite vibrator of all time, my trusty pocket rocket. I had two of these that I hadn't used before and I got around to opening one and there was some damage to the toy. It looked partially melted coming straight out of the box as if someone had poured silicon lube on a side of it. So I went to open the other one I had and the same thing was happening to the other. My sub had one of these too and his was affected with the same thing. Could this have possible been a bad batch [we got them from when they were giving them out as free gifts with any order] Has anyone else had this problem with this toy?

I appreciate being creative as much as any other toy user, but sometimes I just want unusual products to come with suggestions in the style of airplane emergency cards. Just a nice visual rundown of possible uses and positions. I have some graphic design skills, maybe that's my calling?

Some toys do; it really depends on the toy. I know The Cone did have some illustrations with it - as did the Joya toys. Some don't, though, but reviews are usually pretty good at talking about how they used it, and you can usually get some good ideas from those!

I wouldn't call them obtrusive. I didn't notice them at all, except when they prevented me from insertion. Maybe it was a matter of anatomy, or method. But regardless, there was plenty of other things to like about this one.
As for the packaging - I liked it. It was clear and had pink and red decorative typography all over it - nary a porn star in sight. I definitely noticed the effort to make the packaging friendly and attractive.
How did you turn it on? And how many speeds were there?
It is turned on by the knob on the end - and it gradually gets more intense.
