Fun wand - double ended dildo by Njoy - review by Not here

From the moment I laid my eyes on the gorgeous Fun Wand by Njoy, I knew I would someday own it. After months of lusting, and trying to decide if it was the right choice for my first Njoy product, I finally have the beauty in my hands.

It may be listed as an anal probe here on EF, but it really is so much more than that. Beautifully crafted out of stainless steel, the Fun Wand can be used both anally and vaginally- and since it has two ends, that's quadruple your pleasure. Of course, never switch between holes without sterilizing first, or you'll risk infection.

The two ends of this S-shaped wand are clearly designed with specific functions in mind. The larger end has a smooth curved shaft with a rounded bulb on the end, similar to the small end of the Pure Wand. This end is great for g-spot stimulation, although some may find it isn't girthy enough. The other end is shaped like anal beads, curved with 3 graduated balls and a small neck between each ball. Both ends can be used for anal or vaginal insertion, depending on your mood.

Steel is great for temperature play. Simply submerge it in hot or cold water to feel different sensations. It stays pretty cold during normal storage, so if you aren't looking to dabble in temperature play, warm it up in your hands before use to avoid shocking yourself or your partner.

Because there is no give in steel, some may find this toy is best suited for solo use. However, I found it to be much more comfortable during use than I expected, and greatly enjoy it during partner use. The key is to go slow and steady, and communicate with this probe! This is definitely not a heavy thruster. You'll want to take your time with the Fun Wand.

Stainless steel is absolutely gorgeous. I find myself gazing at my Fun Wand often because it looks like a piece of art. (What? It's shiny. Oh so shiny! Don't judge me.)

The Fun Wand is completely non-porous, with a material safety rating of 10 out of 10. It does not retain odors, making it great for anal use, and can be fully sterilized between uses- or holes. Obviously it is a very firm toy, and beginners may be intimidated by this. There is no give whatsoever, so it may take some getting used to if you have never used steel before. But, as with anything, practice makes perfect! Take your time exploring everything this toy has to offer.

This probe is luxuriously smooth. If you enjoy glass toys, odds are you will also enjoy steel. But, if you're a texture person, steel may not cut it for you. It all depends on the amount of glide you're looking for. And trust me, this baby certainly glides!

The weight of steel offers a completely different sensation than most dildos. While the Fun Wand is the smallest wand/dildo of the Njoy line, weighing 2 lbs, it is definitely heavy for it's size. But, if you are interested in trying out steel for the first time, the Fun Wand is a very good choice because of it's small size and multitude of uses.

If I had to pick the sexiest toy in my arsenal, it would be the Fun Wand. There's just something so appealing about it's curvy shape, gorgeous shine and smooth finish. Yes, I have a crush on a sex toy. But can you really blame me? I mean, have you looked at it?!

The Fun Wand may be somewhat small, especially if you compare it to it's sisters the Pure Wand and the Eleven, also by Njoy. It is 7.5 inches long in total, with the smooth end measuring approximately 4 inches and the beaded end approximately 3.5 inches. The largest bead, located at the tip of the smooth end, has a circumference of approximately 3.5 inches. It weighs about 2 lbs, which is heavy for it's size, but rather light when compared to other steel wands. But what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in shape.

If the Fun Wand had parents, they would be the Pure Wand and anal beads.

There are two different ends on this wand. One is smooth, slightly curved upward for g-spotting or p-spotting, and has a small but prominent head. The other end has three beads which graduate from small to large. There is a thin neck between each bead, allowing for a "popping" effect between beads. These two ends meet in the middle to create a sexy understated S shape. The word Njoy is etched on the smooth curved shaft, near the middle of the wand, but it does not provide any noticeable texture. The entire wand is very slim, so if you are looking for some girth, perhaps the Pure Wand, or even the Eleven, would be better suited for you. For those who are just beginning their experimentation with steel, or those who are satisfied with slimmer toys, the Fun Wand is a very good choice.

The Fun Wand is somewhat discreet, as it could be confused for a piece of art if left out for someone to see. It definitely doesn't look like your average sex toy, so you can have fun coming up with excuses as to what it may be. Your guests will likely be none the wiser, and if they already know what it is then you have no worries anyway!

Whether used vaginally or anally, the Fun Wand performs very nicely and feels incredible. It is a very slim toy, so it is likely that it will no satisfy those who need girth to get off. But for the men and women out there who appreciate a thin toy, you will love the Fun Wand.

The smooth curved end is perfect for stimulating the g-spot. It applies a nice amount of pressure without feeling uncomfortable and glides effortlessly. Since it is a somewhat heavy toy with no give, care must be taken when thrusting so that no pain is felt. This end is also great for moderate anal stimulation. I have not yet tried this end anally, but I have every intention to do so. I'll give a full report when I do! The beaded end works great as a handle, allowing for a firm grip.

The beaded end offers great sensations during anal stimulation. The graduated bulbs allow for control over the amount of fullness desired, and the thin necks between each bead add a popping effect when gliding in and out. The bulbs are curved slightly, which offers a great angle for stimulation. One design flaw of the Fun Wand is that the smallest bead on this end is a bit poky, which can hurt a bit at certain angles during both anal and vaginal use. The only way to avoid pain with this end is to be careful. Because of this, it is definitely not recommended to thrust hard and fast with this toy, although the other end is a lot more forgiving.

When using the beaded end vaginally, it performs best when it is slowly glided in and out, or using a rocking motion. It is especially important to use care when using this end as a g-spot stimulator because the slightly pointed tip can catch the cervix and cause great pain. I would recommend using this end primarily during solo use, as it will be easier to gauge the amount of pressure necessary without causing any pain. But, it can be successfully used during partner play as long as communication is present. Just go slow!

When using the Fun Wand for temperature play, simply dip it in cold or warm water, depending on your mood. Or, you can make one end hot and one cold and switch it up on your partner. Just don't put it in the freezer, as that may damage your Fun Wand.

Medical grade stainless steel is incredibly easy to care for. It is non-porous, so it can be fully sanitized between anal and vaginal use by boiling it, or submerging it in a 10% bleach solution. When sterilization isn't necessary, it can be easily cleaned with mild antibacterial soap and hot water and/or antibacterial toy cleaner. Be careful not to use anything abrasive on your Fun Wand, as it will cause corrosion on the steel. As long as it is treated with care, this is a toy that will last a lifetime!

Steel is compatible with silicone and water based lubes, and it does not require a lot of lube in order for it to glide easily.

Storage is a breeze! The Fun Wand arrives nestled in a lovely black box lined with dark pink satin that is perfect for keeping your steel toy tucked away. For travel storage, slip it in a toy pouch or a large ziploc bag and you're good to go!

I love the Njoy packaging. It adds even more appeal and sophistication to the already gorgeous Fun Wand. It arrived wrapped in plastic, and covered in a white sleeve with the Njoy logo written in black on the bottom left corner, and the words pure/fun directly above it. When I slid the protective sleeve off to reveal the lovely black storage box, I practically squealed in delight. Mind you, this is the first "luxury" toy I've gotten for myself, so this was a big deal to me! But, I digress. On the front of the black storage box is the same Njoy pure/fun logo on the bottom left corner as the white sleeve, but this time in silver. Angels sang when I opened the box. My Pure Wand was glistening as it lay perfectly snug in it's girly pink satin lining.

The inner-side of the lid has black ribbons affixed on the bottom corners to hold the Njoy pamphlet in place, although only one ribbon is used for this. The enclosed pamphlet has a small Thank-you blurb with their e-mail address for support related questions. All of the products by Njoy are pictured with brief descriptions and specifications given for each one. It also has a page called "care and feeding of njoy toys" which briefly goes over lube compatibility and how to wash, sanitize and care for your product. The Njoy web address is provided throughout the pamphlet.

May not be big, but size isn't all that counts!

My first thought as soon as the Fun Wand entered me was, "Holy SHIT that is cold!" And it was. But it felt wonderful. I laid back to enjoy the new sensations of steel- the smoothness, firmness and weight I hadn't yet experienced. Needless to say, I am officially a steel addict. The Fun Wand is my gateway drug.

My man took his time with me, gently thrusting and experimenting with different positions to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying myself. And was I ever! The Fun Wand glides so easily, I barely needed any lube for it to feel deliciously smooth. It stimulated my g-spot gently at first, and as my man added more pressure, it got more intense. I was able to have multiple g-spot orgasms with the smooth curved shaft. I'm hoping to master the art of squirting with the Fun Wand, and even if I can't, it is a great multi-purpose steel toy. We also tried this end for anal use, and it felt wonderful. If I was more relaxed, it would have been even better, as I wasn't really planning on sticking it in my butt.
