Kegel exercise made easy for ladies with a tilted uterus!

I finally found an exercise ball that is comfortable to wear. The single ball design does not irritate me like the original Smart Balls does. The Uno is a good choice to wear while doing Kegel exercise. I can feel my pelvic muscles contracting wonderfully while I did the "Elevator" exercise with the ball in me.
Published: June 19, 2010
Pros:
Good fit for ladies with a tilted uterus. Comfortable to wear. Good Kegel exerciser.
Cons:
Does not provide stimulation - increasing weight of the inner ball will make it work!

The Teneo Uno is a vaginal exercise ball. It is a single ball made of silicone. It is designed as a vibration ball that has a hollowed shell enveloping a smaller weighted ball inside. The retrieval string is also made of silicone. There are some slightly ribbed patterns in a contrasting color around the body of the ball. There is a hollow spot between the strings where you can place your finger tip to push the ball into your vagina.

I own both the original Smart Balls and the Teneo Uno. The Smart Balls is a two-ball design. Since I have a tilted uterus, I had a hard time keeping the Smart Balls inside me properly. The linked balls keep slipping down to my vaginal opening and the protruding point where the nylon string attaches to the Smart Balls keeps scratching my labia. It is so uncomfortable that I decided to leave them in the back of my closet after two tries. With the Teneo Uno, all the problems I have with the original Smart Balls are none existent. Since the Uno has only one ball, all I need is one simple push with a small drop of none-silicone lubricant and the ball will go right in and stays comfortably in the position I wanted it. The soft and stretchy silicone retrieval string of the Uno is constructed directly from the ball so there are no protruding parts rubbing against my labia lips.

Disappointments with the Uno: Although the Uno is meant to be a stimulation toy, I do not feel the vibration of the inner ball. I tried to shake and jump while I was wearing the ball and no vibration was being felt. The ribbed patterns on the body of the ball also did not provide any sensation at all.

Although the Uno does not provide any fun stimulation, it is still a good Kegel exercise ball. If you do Kegel exercise with the ball inside, you can get a good hang of how well your muscles are working out. The Uno is also ideal for ladies with a weak bladder. I have a weak bladder problem, after exercising with the Uno for two months, my bladder is stronger and I do not have any more leaks while I cough and sneeze.
Follow-up commentary
I have not touch my Uno for a while. Although it helps in strengthening my Kegels, and is the only ball-type exerciser that stays put inside of me, it does not provide any pleasurable stimulation to my vagina. In order to keep my Kegel muscles in shape without the assistance of any exercisers, my current method is doing 50 squats daily.

Welcome to Edenfantasys! I have the double ball model and I think the texture all around are more to help keep it in than provide stimulation. And yay on the resolved bladder issues, I've been there too.

Kynky Kytty & Sammi -
Thanks for welcoming me. Actually, I 've been around for quite a while - just didn't have time to sit down properly to type up a detailed review!

All right, another reason I should try the Uno. Smartballs are just too long for me (even though my retroverted uterus is long gone).

this was really helpful. i'm thinking about getting one myself, but it seems like they don't have much action. i guess if you're looking for something plain, simple and just for a bit of straightening these might be ok. but apparently they wont wow you

  • Tips for Teneo Uno
    • Hi everyone, I just purchased the Teneo Uno and I'm having trouble feeling any sensation from the inner ball when doing Kegels. Does anyone have any tips? Is it possible that I'm inserting it too high? I did feel the inner ball during removal.

Are the sensations with the Teneo Duo more pronounced? I was thinking of getting that too.
    • I have never felt much sensation from any of the smartballs products other than when I'm moving around at a fairly fast pace.

Just squeezing them does nothing to the inner ball. In fact, it actually isn't designed to. The inner ball moves when you move, working your muscles automatically so you don't "have" to do kegels. Vaginal balls do very little if you're just sitting still.

I think, while it's good to actively do kegels around the ball(s) it's not going to be enough to get sensation from the inner ball. For that you have to move.

Thanks Carrie Ann, I also tried walking around and doing short runs and I didn't really feel anything. I'll give it time and maybe I'll grow more sensitive to any changes that are happening.

  • Best cleaning method for Smartball Teneo Uno
    • Besides the regular soap/hot water method, can I clean my Uno by:

      1. Quick soak in 70% Isopropyl Alcohol
      2. Soak in boiling water

      Thank you very much!
    • Oops, I didn't mean to post my inquiry in the General Discussion area. I thought I was just sending a question directly to the Eden people. Sorry!
