The Uno is primarily designed for Kegel exercises, which require insertion and clenching of the pelvic floor muscles for an extended period of time. Kegeling, as it's called, has great benefits, including better orgasms, a tighter vaginal embrace for your partner to experience, and reduced instance of incontinence with age (all right!). Kegel exercisers are beneficial for all women, but women who have given birth or who have noticed decreased muscle tone will benefit the most. Unfortunately, I don't think men can use the Uno and in general, anal use of this toy is not recommended (as read in the manual). But that all sounds pretty dry, like something you know you should do, but never get around to doing.

But this is a toy, too, keep in mind! Inside the Uno is another ball that can be felt rolling as you move, climbing stairs, walking at a relatively quick pace, doing yoga....Generally, any light to moderate physical activity will activate the rolling sensation. Body-safe silicone and a retrieval cord make using the Uno easy! Since the Uno is a single ball, it may be an easy step into the world of Kegel exercisers--perhaps easier than the Teneo Duo.

From pictures, the Uno looks like a plastic ball maybe surrounded by a net of silicone--it's not! The silicone surrounds the ball and the contrasting color areas are perhaps just for texture and visual appeal. The texture it creates is not very deep and honestly, I can't feel it once it's inside. The ball is totally firm, and the silicone isn't very squishy. The retrieval cord, though also silicone, is thin enough to be bendy and flexible. The loop it makes appears totally secure; no fear of breakage.



The inner ball can't be seen or accessed in any way, so I'm not sure what its material could be. By the same token, it doesn't really matter!

When I picked the Uno up, I thought it was a bit large to insert since, unlike penetrative toys, there is no tapering head or tip to ease onto. At first, I thought this was due to my very small size, but other reviews mention this point as well and I found inserting it while unaroused was impossible and painful. But don't stop reading! Once incorporated into play with my favorite vibrator, I found inserting to be much easier, even quite pleasurable. Fun Factory thoughtfully included a useful finger divot to push against. And, once inside, the ball sat right on my G-spot, which made Kegeling delightful while stimulating my clit at the same time. The Uno is fairly discreet, although the retrieval cord might clue someone in. Compared to most objects, it's fairly small, so taking it with you while traveling would be easy.

I loved the Uno and I'm looking to get the Teneo Duo as well! I don't have any other exercisers or ball-type toys, so I had no prior experiences before this toy. I looked into Kegel exercisers for a long time before I settled on this one, and I don't regret it. I feel the larger size, while an impediment to insertion, is necessary in order to give your muscles something to grip. The Uno performs beautifully and may be the perfect beginning Kegel toy for many women. Factoring in the dimension it gives to other toys makes the Uno invaluable in my opinion.

My only regret is that the inner ball can't be felt very strongly. Any vibrations felt are largely incidental, but many Kegel exercisers don't have an inner ball, so I count it as a bonus! Alternatively, touching the silicone cord to a vibrating toy can transmit some sensations. Give it a try!

The Uno is so easy to clean. There are no motors or electrical components and the silicone is non-porous, so dunking it in warm water and soap is all you need to do. The texture requires some attention, but none of the ridges are particularly deep, so I haven't had a problem with anything getting caught and being hard to reach. The divot in the back is usually the place that requires the most attention during cleaning, so I would recommend paying attention there. I love that the cord is also silicone--some toys have cords of a different, usually inferior, material. That makes no sense! Fun Factory was sure to make a quality toy, here.

The packaging is truly useful--my recommendation is to keep it! The Teneo Uno comes in a very secure-feeling paper box with a slightly metallic finish. Its design strikes me almost like origami in the way it keeps its shape. Even the sleeve that fits over it seems thoughtfully designed. In the top of the lid as you open it is a special sleeve for the manual. The bottom of the box is a cute trough that holds the Uno.

The sleeve of the packaging is fairly discreet, but the box is even more so, saying simply 'Your Perfect Moment. Fun Factory' in a red circle and that's it. Love it!
