Devine? Mostly.
This playchest is such a sexy storage solution. It is incredibly durable and super roomy...you can fit so much inside! It is uber feminine and could even double as a cute weekend bag. I love mine, and if you don't need super secure storage, I'm sure you'd love one as well.Published: November 25, 2010

I really do love this chest. I can fit so much in here and it is gorgeous to boot. My only issue is with the less than secure lock. I don't need a lot of privacy now, but this playchest will last me for many years and I'll eventually have kids that I may not want finding my stash of playthings...and if they are determined to get inside I have no doubt they'll have no problem.

If there was an "I kinda still like it" option, I would have picked that. Don't get me wrong, I still love how much stuff this thing holds. It is the only storage option I have found that can hold a good part of my collection of toys.
However, I have really grown to despise the lack of security that it provides. If someone wanted to know what was in my pretty playchest, they wouldn't have to work very hard to find out. Basically, I have mine shoved under my bed to keep it away from prying eyes. Which is a shame, because it's such a pretty chest. But the fact that it is so pretty begs people to check it out...and open it up. If they could find a way to fix the lock so that is actually [itialic|really locks securely] I would buy another one right now.

I'm really liking the looks of the Devine Toy Chest, but am wondering...does inside the box have a glue or chemical odor? That's one thing I love about my Toibocks products compared to other standard locking boxes I've found - when you open them up, there aren't fumes that knock you down. Are Devine Toys products fume free? Thanks for any info! :-) -
Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what material is used in the inside of the chest? Sort of looks like cardboard or maybe plastic to me...
