I've had the Wedge since around Christmas and I can say that it is a quality piece of sex furniture, but if I didn't have the Ramp the Wedge would not have gotten much use. To be honest, a pillow does just fine too. For the price, I'd rather purchase a pillow. But seeing that I do own the Ramp, the Wedge becomes quite useful for creating even more comfortable positions. By itself it raises the hips slightly to allow for easier fluid rear entry. It can elevate the head so you can watch your partner give you oral while you lie down, and while laying on your back, it tilts the butt just enough to make putting you legs up an effortless action. So if you have the cash (or points) the Wedge is a great piece, but if you are strapped for money, it might be an even better investment to just bite the bullet and go for the Ramp or save by finding a firm pillow. But then again, a pillow isn't as sheek as this!

MATERIAL:

The Wedge is offered on EF in three colors: purple, blue, and black. I chose black because my Ramp is black and it's the most discreet color. Just like the Ramp, it has a very nice velvet feel which is made of microfiber. It is slightly shiny, and eventually will have duller spots with repeated use, but this will take a while. The material does not have a distinctive grain and the velvet is cut very short. It doesn't matter which direction you rub it, it feels comfortable every way.

The velvet fabric is a sleeve that zip over the Wedge form. Underneath this is a nylon sleeve that can be used when the velvet one is being washed, or perhaps you just prefer the feel of this layer. When you zip off this layer, the foam is exposed. Both zippers are made of sturdy plastic.

DESIGN/DIMENSIONS:

The Wedge is appropriately named. It is shaped like half of a rectangular cube, about the size of a standard pillow. Just like the Ramp (which is a bigger, longer version of this), if you lay it "right side up", the short side will make a 90 degree angle. If you flip it over, the angle becomes more gradual and easier to use with the thighs.



It is 13" long, 6 1/2" tall, and 14 1/2" across. It is also 23" wide. I'm a size 8 and there is plenty of room on each side of me to fit on here. Being smaller and more compact, it actually caves less under the weight of me than the Ramp does. I was surprised by this. Having all of my weight, about 140 pounds, and part of my partners weight did not collapse the Wedge.

The side has the Liberator angel/God logo patch on the side. It's pretty discreet in that it can be left out and it just looks like a lounge positional pillow.

The Wedge is designed to give a little boost for sex positions. It lifts the pelvis to a higher level which can make entry easier, especially in the modified doggy style positions. This can aid in finding the g-spot, missing the pubic bone, or just have deeper sex. Sometimes it can be tiresome to lift your booty in the air, especially when someone is grinding against it. The Wedge takes your weight and doesn't make it so you have to continue to support it on your own. It can be placed on a bed or floor. No matter which way you flip the Wedge, I found it to be a bit of an odd height since my knees did not easilytouch the floor when I felt most comfortable on it. I also found that my hip bones felt uncomfortable after awhile.

If you use the Wedge to prop up your butt while you are on your back it tilts the butt just enough that it makes it super easy to throw your legs above your head. This exposes you to easier oral and penetration, plus its a glorious sight!

But honestly, without the Ramp, the Wedge does nothing more than a pillow does. Before I got this, I would grab for a pillow in those moments where I wanted to elevate my pelvis. I can't justify the price to you. It's way to high for what this is. I would advocate for it more if it were about the price of the Heart Wedge, around $50. it's about a third of the size of the Ramp, so it only makes sense to reduce the price by that much as well.

Unfortunately, the Wedge did not come with the gearbag included. You can buy them off of Liberator's site. I personally feel that it should be included since this piece is so expensive!

It is unfortunate that this does not come with gearbag. it collects fuzzies and dust like crazy! it's essential that you have a lint roller. If you need to do more than spot clean the velvet fabric, you can unzip it and place it in a washer on a cold cycle, then tumble dry on low. The nice thing about the smaller size of the Wedge is that it can slide under a bed and some couches for easy storage.
