Sensuous - oil by Kingman - review by Eva Schwaltz

Sensuous massage oil from Kingman is a great product to use for massages or just for conditioning the skin. It contains essential oils and therapeutic herbal extracts to make your experience all the more relaxing and enjoyable. The scent is called Passion Flour which is a very sweet, but pleasant aroma.

Ingredients: sweet almond oil, safflower oil, sesame seed oil, isopropyl myristate, avocado oil, myristate propionate, jojoba oil, macadamia nut oil, kukui nut oil, actiphyte of rose hip, ginseng, Hawaiian white ginger, juniper berry, passion flower, evening primrose, jasmine, sun flower petals, rosemary, lavender, fragrance, and pheromones.

If you normally have reactions to fragrances, and have allergies to nuts, then I would avoid using this oil.

The oil is quite thin, so it will absorb rather quickly. It glides very smoothly, and makes the skin feel amazingly soft. I don’t feel as though it needs reapplication, as it could start to feel too oily. If you get too much, you can easily wipe it off with a towel or rinse with soap and water.

To me this smells slightly musky, and almost as sweet as French vanilla. It’s very pleasant. The smell lingers for a few hours, and if you love the smell as much as I do, that is a great thing. The smell might actually be too strong for some, so be careful where you wear this oil if you choose to apply some before going out. This oil surprisingly has no taste.

I’m still trying to figure out when to incorporate this oil in my routine. I use Good Clean Love before I go to bed, and I use Shunga Exotic Massage Oil after my shower in the morning. I think I’ll be using this oil on weekends or for more special occasions. I love how silky soft it makes my skin feel, and the scent lasts a long time, both qualities I look for in a good oil. As far as the pheromones go, I can’t detect them or tell if they have any sort of effect on me. They don’t seem to have magical powers for seducing people around me either, but that’s fine by me.

For $6 you get 4.5 fl.oz of massage oil which is a nice deal. Even if you don’t like the oil, at least you aren’t wasting a ton of money on it. It functions with a push top which you can use for one handed dispensing. Sometimes a bit of oil will drip from the cap, so be careful to store it where it won't stain anything. Be sure to remove the foil seal located under the cap before using. All the ingredients and product information is already on the bottle, so no extra packaging is needed. This would be a nice gift for anyone who likes sensual and beauty products.
