Toyfluid - lubricant discontinued by Fun Factory - review by Booktease

Toyfluid by Fun Factory is a water-based lube made without L-Arginine, parabens or petro-chemicals. This lubricant does contain glycerin, a sugar alcohol, which should be avoided if you often experience problems with yeast infections, as it can exacerbate the problem. Glycerin may also leave skin slightly sticky afterward and should be washed off with soap and warm water. As a water-based lubricant, Toyfluid is compatible with any toy material and is condom safe. It is smooth and silky to the touch and mimics the body's natural moisture. Toyfluid comes in a tall, silver bottle with a pump dispenser for easy use.

My partner and I are big fans of silicone lubricants such as ID millennium with our compatible toys, but for toys made of silicone, we need a water-based lubricant, instead. We first used Fun Factory's Toyfluid after receiving some as a sample with a Fun Factory toy. We absolutely loved it! It is a very natural feeling, silky lubricant with no smell or taste. We also found that it reacted well with water and became slippery again once dampened. It was also made more slippery by our own body fluid, which is a great aspect of this water-based lubricant. Also, because it has no taste or smell, neither of us felt obligated to go clean up before engaging in oral sex, and Toyfluid did not get extraordinary sticky or tacky afterward as some lubricants can with use.

Toyfluid is a very thin, slightly watery lubricant. Some may not like the texture, but I found it to be very natural feeling. It was a bit difficult to apply this lubricant to the toy itself and we found it much easier to apply it to your fingers or in the palm of your hand first, and then apply it to the toy or your body. Because Toyfluid is such a thin lubricant, it may not be well suited for anal play and I would recommend something a bit thicker, such as Moist Anal Lube, instead. Although this lubricant can be used in the shower, like all water-based lubricants, water will eventually break it down. If you are looking for something to use in the shower, a silicone-based lubricant may work better.

I don't know how this lubricant would hold up during sex, but for sex toy use and female masturbation, it is definitely at the top of my list!

This is still one of my favorite water-based lubricants. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a water-based product- it holds up well, and isn't sticky!
