Toyfluid - lubricant discontinued by Fun Factory - review by Saraid

Fun Factory's ToyFluid is one of the best water-based lubricants I have ever tried. First of all, the packaging is attractive and doesn't look cheap like some lubes can. The bottle is made of aluminum, and the text on the bottle as well as the design makes it look very attractive. Of course, it has the Fun Factory phrase "love yourself!" written up the side, which I love because of its sex-positive attitude.

The pump at the top makes the lube easy to dispense, and the cap which can be placed over the pump keeps it from coming out when it a bag or suitcase. This lube would be great to take on trips, however it is 3.4 oz. (which is .4 over the limit for liquids on airplanes). Just something to keep in mind so you don't get your ToyFluid taken away at the airport!

The texture of the lube is amazing. It had nothing to do with mainstream marketed water-based lubes like KY or Durex. Instead it is slippery, more liquid than gel, and does not leave that horrible dry film on your toy or you when used for a long period of time. It didn't have the plastic-like smell of cheaper lubes. In fact, it didn't smell at all when dispensed.

As far as use, this is great with any toy as it is water-based. So it is compatible with all of your wonderful silicone toys! It is also wonderful for vaginal sex. However I have personally not tried anal sex with this lubricant, so I cannot say if it works well or not. For vaginal sex, and also with toys, once you apply a decent amount you don't have to apply again for a long time. This lubricant reminds me of silicone lubricant in the fact that you only have to apply a little and it really goes a long way!

When I first used ToyFluid, I applied a small teaspoon-sized amount to one of my basic traditional vibrators. I always like to try out different lubricants on the same toy, so that I know the experience is better or worse because of the lubricant and not because of the difference in toy quality or design.

I slowly inserted the vibe into myself and I instantly felt that this was a great lube. It slid into me like silk, and did not have the resistance that some water-based gel-like lubes have. As I turned on my vibe and started fucking myself, the sensations got even better. The ToyFluid allowed for me to feel every sensation the vibrator was giving me. It made the experience of using a standard vibrator into a phenomenal time!

After months of using, I am still in love with my Toyfluid. I use it during basically every masturbation session on my silicone toys, as well as during partner sex. It's just amazing.

I frequently recommend this lube to people who get yeast infections easily, as my yeast infections have stopped since switching to Toyfluid. It does contain glycerin, but is paraben and petro-chemical free! If you are very sensitive to glycerin in lubes, I wouldn't recommend it, but since it has gotten read of my yeast infections something has to be right with it.

It's an absolutely wonderful water-based lube.
