Toyfluid - lubricant discontinued by Fun Factory - review by ToyGeek

Toyfluid by Fun Factory is the best lube I've ever used with my toys. Since it's water based, it can be used with silicone toys. It lasts significantly longer than the lube available at the drug store, and a few drops go a long way, unlike lesser products. It also outperforms other higher quality lubes when it comes to keeping toys slick for extended play.

The lube feels very natural to me. Perhaps it's thin compared to silicone lubes, but since those don't work for most of my toys, that comparison is irrelevant to my uses. The pump top makes it very easy to apply to toys, and it's not particularly runny. With a little care, I didn't even spill any when using the sample packs that came with my Fun Factory toys.

It's not at all sticky or greasy, and it washes away easily. I'd imagine it would be moderately useless for bathtub shenanigans, but then again, I prefer to play in the nice dry bedroom.

I did not find that this lube smelled like anything in particular at all. I tasted it, for review purposes, and found it very mildly metallic, although perhaps I was influenced by the packaging. It certainly didn't have a strong or lingering taste.

If I could give this lube ten stars I would.

My larger silicone toys immediately became more useful once my new bottle of Toyfluid arrived. It's a bit slicker than the other water based lubes in my possession, and it definitely lasts longer. When using the Fun Factory Curve with another lube that I ordinarily like, I found I sometimes had to interrupt my fun to reapply my lube. Not the case with Toyfluid. The difference is rather surprisingly drastic.

(The Fun Factory Curve is the toy that taught me that not all lubes were created equal. I don't know what it is about that toy, but it's downright unusable with drug store lube, pretty darn good with a couple of better lubes, and the best dildo in the world with Toyfluid.)

As for cleanup, it's not any particular trouble. I put two drops on a test pillowcase, before I risked my sheets, and it washed out just fine.

I adore the packaging. It's fairly discreet, unless someone pauses to actually read the bottle, and it's a pump-top, so it's easy to use. Also, it comes with a little plastic doohickey for locking up the bottle, so it's very unlikely to leak.
