Astroglide Lube

Are you a woman? Or a man who has sex with a woman? If you are, then Astroglide Lubricant is for you. The slickness it provides for entry is top notch, and its smooth feeling as you apply it is an amazing feeling. I highly recommend it to any lesbian or straight couple or woman out there.

Use

This product is a wonderful lube. Its great for anal sex, but needs to be reapplied frequently, as if it was a water-based lubricant. I would assume that it is a great vaginal lubricant, but only an OK lubricant for anal. Good general lubricant.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Astroglide lubricant is very smooth and sticky. It pours well, out of the container, and really provides a slick feel to the penis. It has a tendency to dry out after only a few minutes of anal sex however.

Taste / Aroma

Astroglide smells like a normal lubricant. It is not scented or flavored, and I did not taste it. My fingers did smell like typical lube when I was done, however.

Performance

Anally, the product does not last long, and needs reapplication. It does clean up well though. There was a smell that remained on my hands after application, but all I did was wash my hands as I normally do after going to the bathroom with soap and warm water and the smell was no longer there. I like how smooth it was, and the slickness it provided for initial entry. I would recommend this to any vaginal user, but not an anal user. Just too much reapplication necessary.

Sloppy Donkey - Ingredients include: Purified Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Polyquaternium 15, Methylparaben, Propylparaben

The thickness is pretty average for that of a lubricant. I want to be scientific and say that it is of medium viscosity but not sure how to translate that into non scientific terminology other than average thickness :/ My apologies.

      I would definitely agree with you there! I always used to use different KY ones and the occasional one from different surprise-party type companies, but there was always something about them that I hated. Finally I was introduced to astroglide and haven't used anything else since :D
    • Astroglide is ok, but I find it doesn't work that well for anal sex. I use Maximus for that, as I am naturally a wet person, and don't really need lube for anything else.

    • Most likely because reviewers starting out have to review cheaper items first. I'd guess that lubes and massage balms/oils would be many reviewers' first picks since they'd want to buy the stuff anyway. :P
    • A lot of people use Astroglide, so it doesn't surprise me. I reviewed it myself :)
